My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights. Our room had a bed, bathroom, closet, heater, TV, tables and chairs. It had a classic and cosy feel to it. Matthew showed us around and made us feel welcome. Upon arrival he gave us maps and showed us places to go on these maps. He showed us to the common... More

The room was lovely, beds very comfortable and warm as was the room. Bathroom was quite large and relatively clean. Matthew greeted us at the door and helped with our bags both into the hotel and to the room on check in and check out. He was extremely helpful with where things where located and other insider info for Katoomba.... More

Friendly, cosy environment with basic necessities, shared lounge area, free parking, walking distance to tourist attractions and restaurants. Comfortable rooms. Heritage listed house with a lovely host. Would suit couples or singles wanting a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle.

This hotel was very beautiful from the outside, and the same inside - reminding us of an old and charming country house. The room was very spacious and large, and the decor was fantastic. We felt right at home straight away. Free Wi-Fi was a nice bonus too! The service was outstanding, with Matthew spending the time to explain with... More

I booked the hotel mainly because of availability and price range. I was booking for friends who were on a budget. I rang prior to booking to check a few things and Matthew was really helpful, mentioning the location, access to restaurants and of course the 'sights' of the Blue Mountains. The hotel is what I expected - an older... More

This hotel was great and the location was perfect, not right in town and close to the Three Sisters The walls are a bit thin and can hear quite a bit of conversation from other rooms but not loud enough to disturb you Mathew is a great host and recommends alot of great things to do

We absolutely loved our stay at this guesthouse. The rooms were old fashioned and comfortable, the sitting room was pretty and had complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits, and there was a beautiful patio and gardens surrounding the house. It was in a fantastic location, with just a two minute walk to the Three Sisters, and a short bus trip from... More

Well located B&B in a quaint historic building dating back 100 years with loads of period features - it's like stepping back in time. Large cooked breakfast. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location is excellent with the 3 Sisters viewpoint only a 10 minute walk away and the center of Katoomba less than 5 minutes by car (free... More

More like a large guesthouse. Staff were welcoming and helpful with knowledge of the local area. The property is heritage listed so doesn't have all the mod-cons that you expect from larger resorts, instead it offers honest good accomodation. As with just about any hotel etc that I have stayed in Australia, they have a 10:00am checkout time, Australian hoteliers... More

They cancelled my booking for no reason! I booked this hotel ages ago when a group of friends and I decided to spend a weekend in the mountains together. My friends bookings were not cancelled. I am now forced to find another place to stay and will not be able to share the holiday with them. The owner Matthew was... More
