This old lady of a hotel is certainly full of character you can't argue with that. It's huge and creaky and contains many features from its original decor. It really is like stepping back in time. It's in a great location for exploring the Blue Mountains - if your budget can stretch to a room with a view it is...

Just a lovely old hotel with so much character. Yes you get the creaky floor boards but our room was really quiet. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Great location for the town's restaurants and works well as a base for the Blue Mountain trails. Pretty good value for money as well.

This is a very beautiful hotel and I thoroughly enjoyed it's beauty and the fact that it is so well cared for. I also enjoyed the gorgeous balcony view so would recommend staying in one of their balcony rooms if you don't frequent the Blue Mountains. Hotel staff are very professional, have a strong customer-focus and attention to detail. The...

We had tea and scones with jam and cream. The scones were fresh and warm andcthe jam and cream were cool and tasty. The tea servings were large. Well done to the friendly staff. The others in our group had chips and calamari which was freshly cooked and also tasty.

Just a beautiful hotel full of memories of days gone by. We just had drinks and nibbles in Champagne Charlie's and compared to other prices in the area The Carrington is on par with them, only with a much nicer atmosphere. Situated in the Main Street of Katoomba you can't miss it.

It's an icon, which luckily the management understand, so they don't mind people taking photos inside and out. The dining room only do full meals, rather than after dinner coffee and cake which would be a natural thing to do given that they already have coffee and cake on the menu. They could clean up by offering a dessert menu...

What great friendly service and nothing too much trouble approach. Our whole experience from booking in - they worked out needs into the bookings - to dinning, relaxing and having a beer was just great. We will be back.

I am writing, somewhat belatedly, to thank you for the wonderful Christmas lunch we had recently in the Ball Room at the Carrington. My husband and I attended and from our point of view, our day was perfect. The venue was beautifully decorated. The food was fantastic. The MC and the performers were very professional and their presentations were delightful....

I have attended maybe 5/6 Dress Up Balls at this venue and have been impressed with all of them as a whole. Ive had a few complaints over the years but i have always been happy with the food and the service from staff. The Art Deco style of the building is always a joy to experience and generally you...

We visited this hotel from last trip to Katoomba, luckily we made the booking. We do love the old fashion looking, though the bath and toilet are shared on each floor, bot scared to have shower alone at night. Free brekky (hot food is excluded, you can order separately) is included within the reservation, convenient location towards Blue mountain tourist...
