I stayed in the deluxe view roo. The room was luxurious and had everything a hotel should have, plus a great view of the blue mountains. Although all the facilities were located in the hotel next door but since it was near enough, it didn't matter and the rooms are cheaper (though still pricey) than the hotel next door! They... More

Echoes is a gorgeous boutique hotel with fabulous views over the Blue Mountains, even better I think than neighbouring Lillianfells. We did arrive early and our room was not ready which did not matter but we had hoped to have a drink in the bar whilst waiting, however the bar and restaurant were closed that day with some problems so... What a place to spend a few relaxing days. The view from the rooms is spectacular out over the Jamison Valley. The rooms are not spacious but very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff are helpful but not pushy; allowing you to do almost anything you want while not intruding. They are a wealth of information if you need it.... More

Service was attentive and very fast- all three courses almost done and dusted within the hour. Felt rushed. Fixed price for 2or 3 courses, wine exorbitant- definitely not impressed. The food itself was good - but the serving were very small. Maybe we chose the wrong things, we were definitely underwhelmed.

The views from our corner suite were stunning - rain and fog meant that the view came and went. The room is comfortable and clean. As it was raining we wanted to sit in for of the fire and read unfortunately it had not been lit. The food at the restaurant was nice but very over priced.

A beautiful modern large room with adjoining balcony overlooking the stunning valleys of the blue mountains. The hotel premises is impressive. We enjoyed a generous cooked breakfast upstairs on the balcony - such a relaxed morning soaking up the magnificient views. I did mention to the staff that the room air conditioner occassionaly blew cold air. The staff truly warm... More

We visited Echoes for a four day relaxing break. This is our second visit and it was just as wonderful as the first visit. We booked a delux view room which has a balcony and amazing view of the valley and surrounds. The room is nicely furnished, bathroom very well equipped and everything is spotless. The king bed is very... More

I was very disappointed. The view is magnificent however the rooms are small and pokey. Our room was so hot we woke up feeling like we'd been on a long haul flight. The air conditioning was fixed to be 21-24 degrees as well as underfloor heating....we couldn't sleep it was so stuffy. I called reception at midnight and a nice... More

The service was ok but not exceptional compared to other restaurants. Everything on the plate looked good but my lamb was a little dry. No one explained what was on our plate (besides the obvious as they asked who had what dish), we had to chase them down and ask about the garnishing (what you pay extra for in fine... More

Dined at Echoes restaurant on probably the coldest night in Katoomba for decades. Literally marched through the snow. Awaiting was a warm and inviting venue. The Thai chef delivers a we considered fusion menu, whilst keeping a high level of creativity and originality. Recommended is the prawn filled zucchini flowers, and the house pate. We both had the fillet as... More
