We had high tea here last weekend.... the ambiance was very good with the pianist playing at the background. One of the fireplaces was lit giving the room a yesteryear feel. The high tea selection was good although we would have preferred more savoury finger foods in it. My husband ordered lemongrass tea, only for me to find out that...

It was a spontaneous literally last minute trip. On arrival staff were very nice, the rooms were lovely, we had the valley views. It has a very nice old historic look to it. The staff at breakfast have been the best I've seen ever!! So attentive and polite! We had the 4 hour couple spa package which was super relaxing...

Very nice room with stunning view! Lots of people claiming it looks old and run down but it is not. New bathrooms and rooms and the food at the resteraunt! Oh where to start... I had what was probably the best sashimi on the earth followed by the freshest juiciest steak cooked to perfection then to top it all of...

We only had morning coffee here, because we were staying with a friend nearby. It is a haven of luxury and a perfect way to retreat from the crowds - and the breathtaking views - at Echo Point, just along the road. There is a hushed atmosphere and you probably need to make sure you are not under-dressed - it's...

Let down by a flawed breakfast service, our less-than-perfect room, buildings and gardens that have seen better days and no late checkout, this historic hotel oozes old world charm, but is definitely not the 5 stars it claims in their in-house video. Breakfast was without bacon on day 1 and no scrambled egg on day 2. Requests were met with...

We have just spent 4 very enjoyable nights here. I am not sure why anyone would comment that it is run down? It definitely is not and we had nothing but great service from everyone. The guest bar and lounge area is comfortable and luxurious as was our room. Only negative was that the free internet was incredibly slow which...

Loved our stay. It was only an overnight stay and we did pay the extra to go upstairs..must say its not a cheap getaway package but my husband surprised me for my birthday and it was stunning. Loved the view form our gorgeous rooms. Loved the tranquility and position. Spa was luxurious and bed was lovely! Had the dinner package...
