Luxurious rooms with a cozy fireplace lounge area. Our hosts, Jen and Paul, catered above and beyond our needs. Exceeded expectations and great value for money. Every little detail seen too; cute little afternoon teas set up for us on return, fresh fruit provided daily and a generous serving of Merlot. Lovely people, lovely place. Cannot wait to return :)

My wife and I stayed here for a week and it was one of the best weeks we have had. Paul's service and hospitality was far beyond average and the room was always extremely clean. We loved the breakfasts being available in the room at all times and so many good places nearby to see. Thanks for an amazing week!

Shelton-Lea is a lovely old home with independent self contained living areas. My wife and I had a room, kitchenette/lounge and bathroom which provided a good degree of privacy. Jenny and Paul were great hosts with a number of personal touches including fresh baked cinnamon scrolls, port and chocolates and a cooked breakfast brought to the room. Wifi was included,... More

This is a cosy, charming B&B where every comfort is provided by the wonderful hosts, Jenny and Paul. There is a great attention to every detail that makes the stay enjoyable, right down to treats left for our afternoon tea and other generous goodies. The breakfasts are excellent, too!

a gorgeous little cottage with an open fire, central heating and comfy homey hospitality. Our hostess Jenny provided little treats such as homemade cakes for afternoon tea, a delicious cooked breakfast everyday and offered to make reservations at a local restaurant. We stayed three nights and felt totally at home. We were even introduced to Jenny's youngest grandchild. We will... More

We love coming here to relax and unwind in the Blue Mountains. Jenny and Paul, the owners, are such a lovely couple and they leave no stone unturned when making their guests feel pampered and welcome. The suites are reminiscent of lovely old country cottage rooms in their furnishings but with all the modern bits and pieces we seem to... More

We were here for 2 nights in late February, and were quite pleased. Our bedroom was more than adequate, the bed very comfortable, and the sitting/kitchen area quite pleasant. The weekday continental breakfast included as much cereal, breads, fruit and yogurt as we wanted. Jenny and Paul are delightful hosts, and really made us feel welcome. One bit of caution... More

My girlfriend and I made a last minute choice to visit Katoomba to have a breather from the city. Being both very active people we managed to squeeze in some incredible vintage/op shopping (so many interesting shops in the town centre for those vintage enthusiasts!) and enjoy some nature walks without feeling rushed. After knocking on the reception door a... More

The decor is very dated but I guess that just adds to it's originality. It is certainly not a modern suite. You could tell the owners though had gone to a lot of effort to make sure guests are comfortable. From complementary chocolates and port to hot chocolate instead of the basic tea and coffee. There is no air conditioning... More

Thank you Emma for your kind review, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Shelton-Lea B&B is unique, our B&B is a 1920,s California Bungalow and our decor is in keeping with this era. Most of the area and houses are from the 1880,s to early 1900,s that have been restored in this beautiful town of Katoomba.... More
