Quirky and interesting. Bit run down in parts in typical Katoomba fashion. Really nice breakfast. Met other interesting guests from Russia. Plenty of choices of things to read and look at. Off street parking. Host Graham was very helpful to us. Offered to take us to the station; knows the good places to eat.

I pre-booked 6 nights, room was never cleaned, no fresh towels or sheets, huge dusty/dirty areas in the room, peeling wallpaper. Breakfast was great when there was someone to make it but one morning no-one turned up so had to raid a fridge with only bread and cereals. It's 4 star pricing with 1 star pricing. Admittedly the owner is... More

Fantastic place to stay for a time trip to the early 1900 period. The whole place is decorated with furniture, decor and music from that time. A very unique homey and warm experience to enjoy. The host Paula is very nice and easy going. She makes a fantastic poached egg and bacon breakfast and gives good dining advice in the... More

Quirky. Definitely interesting on many levels. But so sadly run down. Yes, it's filled with yesteryear's little treasures, but to the point that it just appears cluttered to the point where I suspect (with plenty of anecdotal evidence) that proper cleaning becomes impossible. The garden is so overgrown we thought we were in the wrong place on arrival. My wife... More

This place is really lovely with lots and lots of artefacts everywhere! The house has a library which is open to the guests and the attic space has been converted to a playroom. I enjoyed exploring the house and sitting in the library with my book. Graeme is a lovely host. He let us in, showed us our room and... More

It's a lovely little place with 4 (approx) rooms all with ensuites. There's a pool table upstairs too. A big breakfast is provided and it's only a short drive (2 mins) to the centre of Katoomba. As the name suggests there are some books we found in our bedroom that make for some interesting reading ;)

We arrived early but was graciously welcomed by Graham. The place was like stepping back in history. If you want a characterless immaculately pristine bedroom stay, go elsewhere! This is about experiencing something different, almost an eerie reminder of a decadent age from the past! Most intriguing with knick knacks and memorabilia in every nook and cranny available. Pool table... More

I booked having read the reviews of Sirens and didn't quite know what to expect. We stayed for 2 nights over a weekend and it was brilliant. Filled with Sirenesque furniture and period pieces. Clean, warm, comfortable and friendly, with only 4 rooms and 3 lounge/game/library area's you don't feel crowded. Graeme is a great host and does a great... More

Sirens is a Fantastic place to stay... Friendly Staff... Great Breakfast... Highly recommended. Close to Town... the place has a good homely feel about it. If you play Piano... this would suit you... as Sirens has a great sounding Piano.

Tastefully decorated room very comfortable and cozy, the house is full of atmosphere and period furnishings. The open fire and complimentary port in the lounge room is welcoming and relaxing. Breakfast is ample and well cooked , host Graham is very friendly , helpful and knowledgable, upstairs sitting area with billiard table is a nice touch. Walking distance to town... More
