Spacious family rooms are hard to come by during peak ski season, and we found Acacia reasonably priced for the 2 day weekend package on offer. The owners are passionate and work hard to please customers- always a good sign. Breakfast is ok and pizza dinner may be slightly overpriced. The room is clean with new toilet fittings and enough... Great value for money and love the hot breakfast! Kids love the common play area and cannot have enough time there. Kids also loved the two dogs. This is our second visit. The ownership has changed. The new owners have renovated the place and improved service as well.

This is the first time staying somewhere else then the station. I'd recommend this place over the station if your staying with family or kids. First up the whole hotel is connected internally so u don't have to go outside at all. They have a wood fired pizza down stairs for dinner which is reasonably priced and is quite nice... More

After the wonderful day at snow, our group of 14 checked in to Acacia Snowy Motel. The rooms were spacious, clean, well heated and provided all the basic amenities. The linen were crips and enough doonas were provided. Loved the gaming lounge. Overall, our stay was great and it was a good value for money. We had a long day... More

we stayed with 2 young kids in a family room. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, everything was easy, breakfast was basic. Bathrooms are newly renovated (we stayed in a standard family room), the room was clean, sheets and towels clean, a little old. big games room. we booked to return later in the season.

We arrived late into the motel due to driving from Qld. The managers txt our phone to advise where our room would be and that it would be open for us to enter. The room was good with a nice view of the Lake Jindabyne. The bathroom was new and lovely. Our bed was comfortable and the room was roomy... More

Travelling from interstate for ski season a stop in Jindy on our way to our lodge at Thredbo was required. We chose this property due to its reasonable rate. The room was basic and dated but on the up side it had a large renovated bathroom. This was probably the saving grace as when we pulled the blankets back the... More

I had misgivings upon arrival at Acacia Snowy Motel as we entered the dingy foyer, a veritable relic of the past. And within the first five minutes we already had a taste of the noisiness too, as a great crowd of skiers were gathered there, making quite a ruckus. Our room was moved upstairs, where apparently we would hear less... More

Management response:

We haven't had a Jude.N stay with us as a registered booker. The booker of the room should have advised accompanying guests the following - - We do not advertise cooking facilities, sinks, crockery, eating utensils etc. in the room. - Hairdryers are available at reception. - a BUDGET BUNK ROOM is what it is advertised as - A BUDGET... This is the second time we have stayed here and we would happily stay again. We stayed 2 nights and our accommodation had 4 bunks (2 adults and 6 kids (not all ours!) ranging from 4 - 12yrs) and was warm and roomy enough for all of us and our stuff. This time around we had breakfast included and all... More
