Panorama Hotel location is great and views of the lake from its first floor lounge are simply amazing! The breakfast was good and the service was excellent. However, the room was peculiar with no desk or table and no chairs! The hot water was erratic. The Wifi was totally pathetic and very slow - going off most of the time!
Such a beautiful view in the morning when you have breakfast. Love just coming home to this place and the fire is on. Lots of games to keep the kids occupied and bar on site. Love the convenience of the buffet dinner as well. Great place to relax after a day on the snow.
I absolutely hated this hotel. We stayed here based on trip advisor. I work for an airline and I’ve never hated a hotel like this before. The husband and wife that run this hotel are so rude. We got a lecture at check in about check in being 3pm. We got there at 2pm and we’re not at all worried about not being able to check in yet and would head up the mountain instead. But the full blown lecture out of no where? Not cool. From there, noisiest hotel. So much banging during the day and at night. From there, unable to store my daughters ice cream cake in their freezer for her birthday as they didn’t have enough room in their freezer.. from there unable to get late check out as they are to busy.. from there they couldn’t clean our room by 2pm as they were busy. I said that was ok but I needed the room cleaned after 4pm if they couldn’t clean it by 2pm so I could get my 1year to sleep. They said that was ok. At 3pm the cleaner banged on the door anyway and walked straight in waking him up. I couldn’t believe it after I just spoke to them telling them I was putting my baby to sleep. I then left the room straight away telling them they could clean the room now. I returned a few hours later and my room still wasn’t cleaned. The owners didn’t care. I asked just for towels and they handed them over like I was an inconvenience?? There are rules everywhere in this hotel- no wasting food, no food allowed in common area, shoes on, no kids allowed anywhere lol. Omg!! The shower nearly burnt our kids!! It goes from freezing cold to boiling hot. I walked my soapy baby into the foyer telling him we couldn’t get the water cool enough to wash the soap off. My husband wanting the leave the hotel then and there!! My husband was so upset he nearly burnt our baby as the water kept changing without him touching the taps as all. All 3 nights we had to shower with our kids to make sure they didn’t get burnt. The beds are so hard and uncomfortable that our sore backs sucked on the slopes. The breakfast was ok, but didn’t start to 7am. There was the whole hotel there lined up at 7am as everyone wants to get to the slopes. Strategy by the hotel to get everyone in and out quick?? Dinner is crap and we only ate there once out of the three nights even though it’s included. The third night because they wouldn’t help us with our daughters birthday cake.. how crazy!! I love hotels when the staff make people feel welcome- Regardless of the standards of the hotel. The staff here are cold, unwelcoming and everything is to hard for them. Who would say no to putting a 10yrs olds cake in the freezer??!!! AVOID!!! Also nothing is walking distance …
This is a hidden gem! Don't be fooled by the modest exterior. Panorama is a well priced hotel with all the facilities that helped make our ski trip a success. We had a standard room which was spacious, clean and modern. Our package included both breakfast and dinner. Served buffet style, the food is delicious and plentiful. There is a well stocked bar and Anton our host only too happy to also serve as a barista for my coffee addiction. Usual facilities for skiers - dry room etc so no worries there. There is also plenty of games and activities for the kids. Great view of the lake too. WiFi available. Plenty of parking too.
We had a family ski holiday and stayed 6 nights here at the Panorama Hotel Jindabyne. Dinner, bed and breakfast package. Very reasonable prices. Food was excellent and plenty of it. Rooms were warm and very comfortable. The owners Anton and Bibi were great hosts. It’s an easy drive to Perisher about 30 minutes depending on weather and traffic if you cannot stay in Perisher itself.
