There was a broken shower, no customer service or way to call the owners in case of an emergency and no complementary biscuits. It said I would get Austar but there was none and there was no free wifi.

Paid $175 for a broken down room after negotiating down from 195 because it was the last room in town and we couldn’t drive any further. Rude receptionist. Zero maintenance in the room. DO NOT STAY THERE unless it’s an emergency.

Not a great experience. Knew it as soon as we we walked in. Dirty, other people complaining happy to get out of there. Over flowing smokers ashtrays on the common verandas. Great location but 2 star at best.

I booked and received an email confirmation for 2 nights accommodation for 5 people in 2 separate rooms through booking.com a week in advance of my stay. (Sept/oct long weekend) I called the hotel on the day of our arrival to confirm the time we would be checking in, only to be told by a very rude female staff member that there was only 1 room booked. I was then offered 1 room for 5 people for a slightly lower price than my original booking. After explaining that I had a booking confirmation number & email for 2 rooms & a set price & that a single room wouldn't be acceptable, the employee then rudely responded that the 2 rooms would be available as booked at the time of our check in. This was a very disappointing start to what was supposed to be a relaxing family holiday. After checking in we found both rooms were in need of a good clean. With spider webs, dust, handprints on walls, receipts & rubbish left behind by previous guests just some of the things in need of attention. The location of the hotel couldn't be faulted though, with bowling club, beaches, restaurants, lookouts and Main Street all within easy walking distance. On the basis of the attitude of the staff at this hotel and a blatant attempt to price gouge guests at peak times, I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Have spent two nights here. Room seriously in need of refurbishment, cleanliness ok, bed was clean, freshly made and comfortable. States in ad on booking.com that there is champagne and chocolates on arrival, apparently this is not so and they are trying to get it off the website. Reception lady very nice . Well situatrd to the beach and shops. Will be paying a bit more to stay elsewhere next time. Ok for low budget accommodation.
