Stayed two nights at Cowra Motor Inn as part of an E Bike tour package. Owner Nicole was very welcoming and helpful with good suggestions of where to eat and nearby attractions. Rooms & amenities were clean and well kept. Close to Imperial Hotel and an Indian restaurant. Both had great food and only a short walk. Highly recommend Cowra Motor Inn to anyone visiting Cowra and surrounds
Very, very disappointed with our room. It was like a jail cell. Couldn’t unpack because no shelves or drawers. Single wardrobe. Hanging space only. Two upright chairs instead of bedside tables. Bathroom minute. One very small washbasin with a small glass shelf above. No bathroom cabinet so nowhere to put anything. Paint peeling from the ceiling in the room. When we spoke to the owner her response was “oh well, people didn’t expect much in the sixties”. Breaking news! This is not the sixties. The accommodation at the Cowra Motor Inn was part of a package provided by Central West tours to the Elvis festival in Parkes. There were over 100 people booked for the tour and rooms were distributed between three motels in Cowra including the Cowra Motor Inn. The majority of guests had booked through a company called ‘Starts at 60’. Needless to say they got the best rooms. In my view this was done deliberately because the owner is looking for more business from this company. See photos below showing the difference in the quality of the rooms.…
Room was revolting, smelt like smoke. Was meant to be a non smoking room. Had to walk past what looked like locals smoking in the walk way. Bed was hard, the floor would have been softer Heaters cold not keep the room warm enough during the cold Night
You know straight away that your in good hands when a genuine warm welcome is extended to you by name ad you approach the receptionist and such was that extended by Dell. Nothing was any trouble to her everything had been thought through and the fresh milk added the final touch. The room was very spacious, the hot water in the shower came on hot and strong with no need to stay an extra day waiting for it to arrive and despite being on the highway surprisingly quiet. There are many reasons to visit Cowra all of the good as is your reason for choosing Aalana Golden Chain Cowra Motel for your restful stay over if you do stay say hi to Dell for me and give the dog a pat.
Our family of five stayed for one night. Nicole as host was lovely, room was clean, ok space and the aircon worked well. Great location just off the main drag, walking distance to lots of options around the town.
Motel a bit aged but conveniently located in centre of town. Very welcoming experience with great service with a smile from the beautiful Nicole. Close to Imperial Hotel that service great meals with excellent staff.
Our host Nicola was very welcoming and gave us plenty of advice on the town and sights to see including the amazing Japanese Garden and the POW camp. Out room was clean and cool, quiet and well presented. The shower was outstanding. We would most certainly visit again.
We recomment this motel. Not only is it clean, comfy, quiet and convenient, but Nicole gave us greAt tips about cycling and where to eat locally. We felt very welcome and would stay there again. The in-room Contiental breakfast was a nice surprise too!
A group of us booked in to the Motel as our base for cycle rides around Cowra over four days. The rooms had seen better days, but were clean and reasonable large enabling me to secure my bike in the room between rides. The bathroom looked ordinary, but the lighting was good, the towels were excellent and the shower head was clean and provided a great shower. The tariff included a continental breakfast but after day 1 never received juice again the cereal was not to my liking. There is a Coles nearby and I was able to supplement my breakfasts and enjoy the provided bread as toast with jam. The fridge in the room had an internal drip which meant that the bread wrapped in gladwrap had water soaking in. Between our hours away each day and checking out without seeing the staff I did not get the chance to pass on these problems but from my check in experience I'm sure that they would have been dealt with properly.…
Great location. Quiet room. Very clean. Great mini kitchen facilities. Bathroom a little small but still functional. We had breakfast included. It was plentiful, fresh and delicious. Very friendly staff. A great stay.
