Our group of friends stayed at Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach for New Year's Eve and we were really impressed with their excellent customer service. They made it easy and hassle-free to get inter-connected rooms with our teens so it was easy for us to keep an eye on them should we need to. We were also given higher level rooms with great views of the beach and the ocean. The rooms were clean and had all the safety precautions in place to ensure that we felt safe despite the pandemic concerns. We particularly appreciated the sweet treats and Champagne that served as beautiful welcome into our rooms. The hotel location is amazing, only a few steps away from the beach, the shops and restaurants. Due to Covid-19 restrictions we were a little disappointed that we couldn't go ahead with our plans to watch the fireworks in the city centre but staying at Crowne Plaza Coogee ended up being a cheaper and great alternative to celebrate the New Year by the beach with friends. Stayed at Coogee Beach for a business meeting. The meeting rooms are well equipped and with enough space even smaller meeting rooms. The guest room is good and big. Most of them are faced to the Beach. You can hear the wave and see sun & moon rise in the room. Amenities are provided. Food & beverages are unexpected good. Just the room is a bit in old fashion. Such as no USB plug and no standing shower.

Lovell location and friendly folk - an older hotel but great for family. The kids made use of the facilities and access to the beach, big recommend. Would definitely go back for a great break in Sydney.

Wow, beautiful hotel, with an amazing pool and 2 min walk to beach and rock pool. Very posh inside, felt a bit like an up market American country club experience. Breakfast/restaurant room was beautiful. Staff very nice. Free towels for pool and beach. Room very good with usb sockets. Good public buses to Bondi. The walk took us over an hour, and was up and down hill. Nearby Coogee beach restaurants were great.

Friendly and helpful staff, hotel caters towards small kids (toddlers) and are very accommodating. Great extras on for kids (games room / Easter bunny and treats). Dinner was also great In Shutters restaurant.

This is our favourite hotel in Sydney. Whenever we return to Australia, we stay at this gorgeous spot overlooking Coogee Beach. The staff are exceptional, especially with my two children. in fact, I think the staff might be their favourite part. I love the sun-filled breakfast with a great spread and relaxed atmosphere. The location is truly impossible to beat. Right on the beach and a 5-minute walk down to all the shops and restaurants. It's easy to get around from here and a great spot to anchor ourselves as we meet up with friends. Staying at Coogee Crowne Plaza has become our annual tradition and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the best of Sydney - both views and people.

As a Platinum IHG member, I am very disappointed with the venue and Duty Manager (Abhed). Simplest of requests on check-in, could I order room service,a Club Sandwich Response was no, you have to order from your room 20-25 minutes later after constantly calling Room Service, Front Desk, Concierge and operator (all calls ringing out without answer) and failing to get an answer, I then head back down the elevator and ask for the Duty Manager, turns out it is Abhed, apparently he is the Duty manager I let him know there is no answer to the phones and place the order with him, apparently now he can take the order, however states the phones are not working Here is where the lack of logic does not work, if the phones are not working, why instruct guests to call from their rooms to start with, makes no sense Reeks of either apathy or laziness, not sure which I stay at this venue regularly, service has dropped off noticeable since the end of Covid, it just reached a new low Food showed up and was all but cold, so that pretty much completes the picture here Its the little things that count! …

I cannot recommend this hotel, it was over priced for the rooms available. There is no bar fridge. What more can I say except it was disappointing, the room as I said is overpriced and small. Very difficult to obtain a taxi.
