It's in a quiet area. There's a hilly 10-15 minutes walk to the Chatswood train station and bus stops. The room has the basic necessities however housekeeping is below standard. The room has a mini-kitchenette with a dish set, which is great for eating in and saving money. It's a reasonable price, considering the expensive options in and a round... More

Stayed here with my husband and mother-in-law for a couple of nights. Well worth the price. Chatswood is an easy access suburb from Sydney - it's on the Pacific Highway and, more importantly, is also on the train line (North Shore, Northern, Central Coast and Newcastle, and Western line) which makes it a great place to stay if you want... I was surprised the moment i reached my room; it was small but nice, clean, complete with everything, comfortable and cozy in a beautiful, quiet area in chatswood. The hotel is also walking distance to train station. I would definitely return here and recommend this hotel to my friends.

The Charrington is a small boutique hotel a short walk to the shops, buses and railway station. It has an old fashioned charm about it with beautiful tiled flooring and stained glass. There is a comfortable sitting room and an indoor and outdoor kitchen. The rooms are comfortable with a microwave, jug, water, milk, tea and coffee, plus bathroom supplies.... More

We stayed here while visiting family in the area. So we were just looking for a bed really. Anyone staying outside of weekends with a car will have to think about parking a short walk away due to school parking restrictions. This property surprised me in a number of ways. It was very quiet although it was close to the... More

First time I stayed in this hotel. Best location, not far from the train station and the Westfield shopping center ,5 minutes walk. Old looking hotel outside but beautiful when you walk in. Reception was very nice and helpful. Free wifi. I love the room we were in. I will stay again in this hotel. Affordable price.

Stayed 6 nights in a room that had stale smoke smell. I believe all the rooms have balconies and previous guests obviously smoke outside with the door open...anyway, reception staff were friendly. The room had a few things broken and the shower was over the bath and very low for tall people. We would stay again if we needed to... More

Felt like we stepped back in time, the old school style of this place makes it relaxing. Trees an birds eating out of your hand is something hard to find in a city precinct, walking distance to shopping an transport we loved it
