My girlfriend and I just spent 3 nights at the Gorge. We stayed in a tented cabin which was perfect for staying in the outback. It's far better than a tent, it's pretty much just like a cabin but with the ability to have some breeze come through. It does get very hot however. You do end up living on... More

El Questro and Emma Gorge offer breathtaking scenery and surroundings. Plenty to keep active and adventurous visitors happy. Very comfortable accommodation though not glamourous. Great service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. One visit is not enough.

Emma Gorge Resort is one of three places to stay at El Questro Wilderness Park. It's the middle of the range, with the 5 star 'Homestead' being at the top, and 'The Station' offering camping facilities and some lovely cabins (these are 45-60 minutes further away). For me, Emma Gorge is a brilliant place to stay as it is the... More

Fantastic stay in the tented cabins! lots to do In the area - Emma gorge was a little challenging in places but if you take your time & do first thing before the heat - well worth it - will be visiting again. Various choices of tours from station. Food was reasonably priced and the staff cheerful and accommodating -... More

Cabins here very comfortable and the food and service were excellent. Emma Gorge walk was very beautiful, especially the final pool. Very professional operation from check in the reservations for restaurant and staff who understood the meaning of hospitality.

Emma Gorge is amazing but so too is El Questro in general and what it has to offer. It is a bit of a trek (by foot) up to Emma Gorge but once up there, you have a choice of two swimming holes. We were lucky enough to share it with one other. Zebedee Springs is also worth a look... More

We loved the tents and very clean and nice large bathroom. Nice to have Tea and coffee facilities. The walk to the main restaurant pool area was a bit of a hike but good exercise from sitting in the 4wd all day on our APT tour. It has a Laundry area well equipped. The Food was of good quality and... More

Enjoyed our stay but the safari tents were lacking character-between the tents was very sparse and barren. There was no fridge. The restaurant food was pretty average for the price. Not much to do besides the Emma Gorge walk-which was enjoyable but a bit rocky.Dining arrangements were confusing-if not part of a group do you eat in the restaurant or... More

Cute eco tents with amazing views. Top quality restaurant food. Delicious and well priced. Good variety of drinks but a little dear for some wines. Highly recommend it to all travelers and locals too.
