As part of a longer trip we flew into Kununurra from Darwin, hired a 4WD, did a shop for groceries and borrowed some camping cooking gear and esky from a contact in Kununnurra, then headed to El Questro to stay in a Station tent. Arrived late but that was not a problem. Station tent was very comfortable, loved the bird... More

Had a fabulous four night stay here. 4WD a must. All of the walks through the gorges and visit to Zebedee Springs excellent. Enjoyed a great meal at the BBQ night. Busy and noisy around the park at times but to be expected. New toilet and shower facilities great.

Overrated. Overpriced. Would not recommend to caravaners. Everything is very expensive compared to similar tourist locations in the greater area. Have never had to pay (expensive)for WiFi at any other top end parks. Need 4x4 to get to any walks. Zebedee springs which is very small and busy is closed at noon for "special guests". Looks good in the brochure... More

Stayed in private camping (Pee Wee) which is well worth the extra $ for your own private slice of paradise. Plenty of great walks and lookouts to do during the day. Great bar for sunset drinks (go at happy hour). Best walks are El Questro, Emma Gorge and Champagne Springs. Showers and toilets are modern and very clean.

I came here with my husband and stayed in a private campsite right next to the river. The campsites were big and very clean and tidy. These campsites are away from the main camping area, ours was 4.1km away. The staff are all very friendly and eager to help and answer any questions you have. Everyone we spoke to had... More

All of the staff at El Questro seem to be naturally imbued with a great deal of knowledge about the resort, the landscape, the history, the culture, etc. Everyone was meaningfully welcoming and personable. The area is absolutely amazing, and you'd be crazy to miss the opportunity if you ever get one. Yes, at times it can be very busy... More

We came to El Questro at the end of our Gibb travels and it was such an oasis! Camping at Black Cockatoo campground (unpowered) was terrific, found a fantastic shady spot in row A near the creek. The swimming holes near the campground were wonderfully and so needed. The amenities were very clean and well-appointed. Staff were professional, efficient and... More

Everything was top class and hassle free ,gorge walks and Pigeon Hole Lookout at sunset was memorable, hot springs did wonders for my old tired body, should have started my journey along Gibb River Rd here as the corrugations would not affected me until at least Mt Elizabeth

AMAZING destination! We had the time of our lives! Great tours, atmosphere, food, drinks, people and countryside! We flew ourselves in our light aircraft, the strip was gravel and the information on it was correct (length, terrain, elevation etc). Just check the CTAF as everywhere is advertised incorrectly. We were impressed by the facilities, tour guides and how organised the... More

Tours to Chamberlain Gorge, Explosion Gorge and Brankos Lookout were excellent! Walks to El Questro Gorge and Emma Gorge well worth the clambering over rocks! Bungalow stay at Emma Gorge with pool, a nice relaxing two days
