El Questro is amazing, in the middle of nowhere, clean and relaxing. Amazing scenery and day trips all so close by. We came here a year ago and although a little crowded, we did it again as part of GRR. You are at the campsite so little and everyone is friendly and helpful. We'd stay here again and again..

El Questro was a great experience, visited gorges and swiming holes, horse riding and boat tour made it a very positive abd memorable experience. We stayed in tents which were great for a short stay for those that dont wish to take their caravan into the property.

The 16km road from turnoff gibb river to the station kind of ruined the mood! Looked like it hadnt been graded for a while, worst road on the whole gibb river very bumpy...on our way out the next morning it was being graded but you would expect better from a resort like that. They allowed dogs which was great. Unpowered... More

We originally planned to only have 2 nights at El Questro but ended up staying for 5! There is so much to do and the campground itself has a lovely atmosphere. Our kids loved the horse riding with Laura & Christian Hayes, the horses were so gentle. The Helifishing was also a highlight for the boys, the scenery was amazing.... More

An oasis in the outback. Such a beautiful place to go. Spotless. Take a stroll down the creek and watch the horse riding go through the water. This place is fantastic for all ages. Music at the bar every night. Toilets and showers are spotless, you can enjoy your own private toilet, shower and sink in the bathroom quarters available... More

I recently stayed at the station for 4 nights and found El questro beautiful. I am not the outback type but loved walking through the gorge and taking a helicopter up to Amaraoo falls. The accommodation at the station was very good with great amenities. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating. My only criticism is the... More

A great place to visit with lots to see and do. The gorge walks and views from the lookouts were spectacular and the 4wd tracks were fun too. Even though we were ther in school holidays and it was very busy the amenities were always clean and available.

El Questro is a very well run resort. It is very commercialised these days. I visited back in 1998 and it has definitely jumped on the tourist band wagon since then. It caters for DIY camping in private sites with an eco toilet, to staying in onsite tents. There a quite a few tour groups that come through and have... More

We stayed in an eco tent, which was very clean, well furnished and serviced daily. We had a terrific time whether we were doing the self tour 4WD's or the self tour hikes. The majority of our family did the El Questro and Champagne hikes, keep in mind these are not for beginners, some of the rocks were 3 meters... More
