he location is really perfect! Just few steps from the main swimming pool and forest. Our bedroom was really clean and we found everything we needed! Really a perfect place in order to spend a great time. The staff was also very professional and gentle with us!

Hotel's Favorite
I was originally searching resorts in the Punta Cana region but decided to go for a more secluded, quiet experience. It was the best decision we made for this vacation! The Samana peninsula is not touristy and has a very authentic and natural feel in general. The resort rooms are large, clean, and all have nice airy balconies. The property was always so quiet and peaceful that my wife and I felt at times that we were the only ones around. It feels so intimate, personal, and the staff takes care of you every time you sneeze. The staff comes in at night and prepares a fruit water drink, and during the day they help get you set up on the beach. Oh, and did I say how beautiful the beach is? Undeveloped, not overrun, just the perfect spot for sitting and watching the waves. The water is a perfectly mild temperature and we could have stayed there all week. The pools were perfect for rinsing off from the ocean and for doing some laps. Alexander helped arrange a very special excursion for us to go out and explore some beautiful beaches by boat. But if you just want to relax, the beach by the resort is absolutely stunning. You will be impressed and glad you made a good choice. Can't wait to go back again!

You really do have the best beach at Sublime Samana. The rooms were beyond my expectation - we were on the second floor, in a one bedroom suite. House keeping comes at least twice a day and leaves you with complementary water, beer, soda, and infused water at bedtime. The staff is gracious and attentive. Why the hotel lost two stars: the food is mediocre though, and families don’t stay out of the adult only pool. FYI— You need a car to get into town, and we tried many of the top rated places on Trip Advisor — and nothing really stood out, or were closed. Lunch is the biggest meal in DR - so walk the beach to the left and stop by at the two restaurants on the beach for lunch instead of eating at the hotel. Other things: The spa was OK - not worth the price for the couples massage though. (We had a better one at the Hamman in town.) The gym was great, and it was nice to have breakfast included, but the food just is not flavorful at this hotel. It was hard because we wanted to stay and chill on the beautiful beach, but had to keep getting up and getting into town for food! Many families here during the February break that schools have off — and a beautiful spot, but many kids!

A slice of heaven. We had a two bed room casita. Ideal for our family of four with two teenagers. Two bathrooms, a kitchenette they stocked with water, soda and a couple of beers. A comfy TV, out door seating area. Steps from the multiple pools and idyllic beach. You can walk for at least a mile in either direction and be on beautiful sandy beaches. If you head west the beaches are literally empty. Feels like paradise. It is. ONly down side is the food. Great breakfast - included in room rate. Lunches and dinners are overly ambitioys. Would they just serve local cuise - arroz con pollo, beans, rice, fresh fish. But everyone is super nice. There is a spa, a basketball court, a tennis court a gym. They will bring beers and food right to yiur beach chair. Kayaks, paddle boards are free for the asking. The hote next door - a Wyndham - can be a little noisy but it is easy to ignore. The top floor casitas are a little pricier by maybe nicer. Some rooms have outdoor grills. The town of Las Terrenas is a 20 dollar cab ride away - no matter how many folks you have in the vam. There are some good restaurants there. Be a perfect place to go for family gatherings, with friends, alone or as a family of four A lot of Europeans. Two hour taxi from Santo Domingo ($180 Im sure there are better rates). No seaweed bloom on the beach. ONe of my favorite beach vacations ever. Ohhh the rooms have jacuzzis. There are outdoors showers but we found the hot water to be a little spotty. Just great!
