The owners of this hotel needs to up their game. They spent more time arguing with the staff than being productive. The femal owner changed clothes three or four times a day. Furthermore, we saw them drinking at the pool. Highly unprofessional! We changed room three time. First room had a moldy smell, the AC did not work in the 2nd room and there were no tap in the bathroom of the 3rd room. Not good The pool need a lot of TLC then it could be a great pool. The staff were really helpful and service minded. Had it not been for them, the hotel would be in ruins. The breach is excellent. The area is excellent place for vacationing. Rey’s place and the restaurant at hotel mosquito is worth a visit when it comes to lunch and dinner

This hotel has a lovely setting and it looks nice until you look closely. WiFi only sporadically by the desk. No hot water, if you complain their reply is that hot water is solar and to let it run for 15 minutes. That solution doesn’t work (3 nights of icy cold showers). The rooms are never clean or towels changed during your stay. The unsafe and dangerous part is that the showers have neither safety threads or a mat. I am 73 years old and luckily didn’t break a bone or hip. Had numerous contusions to show. Told the owner and front desk, both promised a mat which was never delivered. Contacted Expedia and told them of the problem and even posted photographs of my bruises. I know no one is going to do anything about the problem but if these review gives information to another senior they might think twice about staying there and avoid injury.

The property is nice with great access to the beach, but the facility is old and in need of a major renovation; the doors are old and do not close in a proper way, the safe was broken, the internet only work from outside your room; the TV was good and offers many channels from all over the world.

I was cheated out of my orbitz payment. Staff, took my money despite my proof of online payment to Orbitz. I was told a refund will be issue as soon as possible. I never did get the refund despite talking to the hotel manager and Orbitz.

We stayed only for one night and enjoyed the stay. this Hotel definitely had seen better days and needs a little more tlc, but it is very pretty, the gardeners definitely put in the hours. The occupancy is very low only 2 more rooms beside ours were taken. However the owner is very friendly and helpful. The beach near the hotel is probably the best beach in the country.

First of all this is not a resort but a small hotel with approximately 60 rooms, the grounds are nice and basic, pool is clean and has comfortable lounge chairs, the rooms are open and spacious th bedding is very hard it's basically a thin mattress on a wood base . The bathroom is small and older but everything is super clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful but very basic services. Breakfast is bread eggs fruits and juice coffee and cereal very basic but OK. The restaurant has good food and a basic menu, if you want great food the Atlantis hotel next door has a great beach restaurant. The property faces one of the best beaches in the world, fun to walk on the boardwalk or stroll down the beach. There are surfboards to rent on the beach but currents can be tricky right In front best to swim to the right side of th resort in calmer waters. This hotel is about 10 mins from the downtown of Las Terrenas so if you don't have transportation you are stuck at the hotel with only beach activity and that's it. There are moto taxis you can call or rent a small quad to go around town. You can't beat the price for what you get its the best place to just relax and enjoy some time off will be back soon.

A nice hotel, on the outskirts of Las Terrenas, on a very nice beach. The hotel is pretty large, for the area, about 40 very varied rooms on nice, park like grounds. The rooms are minimally furnished, AC'd and each room has a balcony or outside sitting area. There is a good sized pool in the middle of the well maintained property. In the reasonable rate is the breakfast included. The only complaints are the lack of mirrors in the room, the uneven supply of hot water and the poor Wi-Fi service. There is a small restaurant with local food on the premises. Other restaurants are located along the beach front.

The perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself in a beautiful and peaceful place. They have a beautiful and clean beach. Also the pool is amazing with good size and very clean. Breakfast which is included is tasty and served at a good time in the morning. The rooms are nice and clean but the only concern is that they don't have a fridge in the room and no drinking water. All in all if I return to semana I would most definitely go back to punta bonita.

This is an 80-room hotel equipped and staffed for 30 maybe. Facilities are old. The beach in front of it is very good. Staff is overwhelmed with less than 40% capacity occupation. Very little staff. Good for a budget stay if you are in it for the beach. It is a bit off from otherplaces

Driving around and surviving the madness of traffic and suicidal motorcycles we found this wonderful friendly place and stopped for a browse and coffee. We were welcomed by Marisa at the front desk, a wonderful helpful person who showed us the facility and the grounds. It appeared to be a clean, well manage place, waterfront, clean, quiet and comfortable. "Nina" one of her employees showed us around. Although we did not stayed at the location (we had other reservations already) it gave us the impression to be a well managed one. Well worth a check! Their friendliness deserved this few and short review.
