This small hotel is our first choice when in Las Terrenas. It is, as the Dominicans say, "muy tranquilo"! Wonderful helpful but unobtrusive staff. Very comfortable rooms. Nice shady area under the palms right on the beach. The owner of the third-best rated French restaurant in the DR (in Las Galeras) told me that the Atlantis is rated the best...

There are a few good restaurants in Las Terrenas, and this is one of them. The french cuisine, service, prices, and ocean front views make this a place not to miss, when visiting Las Terrenas. The signs which point the direction to this place are a little hard to see at night, so you should probably scope it out during...

My husband and I chose Hotel Atlantis for our "first" honeymoon (we call it first just because we both agreed to take a more extended honeymoon when we have more time and to a place neither of us has gone before - but this sure was one!). We had both been to Las Terrenas before but knowing it would be...

Fantastic French food for a special occassion but prices really steep (i.e., count on $100 per person with wine). Well worth it for a birthday dinner while staying nearby.

We stayed there for my father in laws 70th birthday and made and excellent choice. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet well run small hotel, if the whole experience might be a bit French at times (when we arrived there was a note to call the owner for check-in :O) As...

llWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet well run small hotel. "This is a relaxed and quiet place for uncomplicated people." - sums it up really. For us been able to open our bedroom windows and hear the sound of the sea is real luxury. " It is not an easy...

I spent a week in January in hotel Atlantis and had a great time! I recommend the small plane trip to get there: its both fun and fast! Dont be scared by the last kilometer of bad road to reach Playa bonita; at least it makes it a bit more "secret" and much more quiet thant any of Las Terrannas...

The atlantis hotel is excellent located by playa bonita beach. They have a great seating area with long chairs by the beach at no extra cost. The restaurant there serves really good international and local food. However, the prices are a bit higher than in other hotels in the area eventhough they offer the same facilities and services.

The hotel Atlantis is a great romantic spot but it is also good for the whole family. It is right by the beach of playa bonita. The hotel has its own restaurant and the chef is french, so expect to be getting the most delicious food ever. The price is a bit higher than other hotels but it is totally...
