Attended a shared Christmas party night with friends. Food was beyond terrible. Main course beef was hard, dry and tough. Christmas pudding never arrived due to poor service. When it did arrive it was cold. Air conditioning was freezing so several people wearing a coat! Only 1 member of staff serving the bar. Shame as not cheap but would not go again. There are many better venues in the local area.

Spent a day here at the spa. From the friendly welcome and assistance by Emma at reception, to a fabulous massage by Laura S, use of all the facilities, and a lovely afternoon tea! Was great value and will definitely be back!

Had an amazing massage with Ashley, one of the best I’ve ever had. She communicated with me throughout checking that the pressure was okay, and was attentive to the areas that I specified as being particularly achy and painful due to tension. Feel so much better and less stressed after such a great massage, I couldn’t recommend having a massage here enough. The spa was also great, had brilliant amenities and a great outdoor jacuzzi that we spent most of the time in.

Relaxing spa and just loved the outdoor pool and jacuzzi area. Had an excellent massage from Laura S. Relieved all the muscle tension and knots that had built up in my back And left my skin feeling beautiful . Thoroughly recommend the whole experience

Room was in need of TLC. Furnishings dated. All table lights propped up against the wall Although bathroom had been updated, there was paint peeling and not in keeping with the prices charged or public areas.

Friends kindly took me for a birthday treat, the facial by Ashleigh was excellent, one of the best ever. The Spa team were helpful and friendly. However the afternoon tea was poor, the tea lukewarm, the so called small Victoria sponge inedible. sandwiches so so. When we asked for a box to take some of the cakes home we were given what looks like a takeaway burger container. The walkway from the hotel reception to the Spa area was uninviting and we wondered if the Spa was actually open as we walked down the corridor. The restaurant was cold at 1pm so we all went and got dressed instead of staying in our robles. We had to ask for the heating to be put on or up. Spa and pool were busyish, looks like possibly members who use the pool. The restaurant and hotel seemed very quiet. The outside heated jet water area was lovely. The treatments were good, everyone ( but one of 6) came out of their treatments glowing and relaxed. …

Enjoyed an overnight spa break with my sister and wished it could have been longer. The welcome at reception on arrival was friendly and efficient and that continued throughout the hotel from all the staff we encountered. Our stay included a treatment in the spa and for that a big thank you to Emma who gave me a lovely foot massage. Already planning our next visit.

I had my baby shower at the Berystede Hotel and Spa. I wanted an afternoon tea incorporated baby shower, in a private room with 15 of my closest friends and family. I met Cleo (Events Manager), once to view the room. The rest of the organisation was over 3 emails. Cleo and her team couldn't have been more accommodating, the extras I asked for; a table to place gifts, a coat rail with hangers, 2 easels to hang pregnancy portraits on, an additional easel welcoming guests, water and bottles of Prosecco were all catered to. The best baby shower so much fun. I simply sat down and enjoyed the day. We had two waiters that looked after us, sadly I forgot their names. They went above and beyond attending to our needs.A big thank you to the two gentlemen. The stress of organising the baby shower left me when I saw my family and friends enjoying themselves. We even had music to dance to, courtesy of Spotify. At 36 weeks pregnant, I let my hair down and danced the afternoon away with my my family and friends. Thank you Cleo and Team! …
