I can’t add much more than other reviewers in saying how good the White House is. Girlfriend and I stayed there for three nights because we were “doing the Black Country” and it proved an excellent base. So many thanks to Carolyn and Barbara, the breakfast lady. Only downside is that there is not many local places to get an...

I had contacted Carolyn - proprietor, prior to make arrangements for our trip, we were accomadated with every thing we asked. The hotel is a 10 min walk from shops and train station- one stop down to NEC every 20...

Me and a colleague stayed here for 3 nights beginning the 1st of December. £70 for a twin room, the beds were very comfortable and the room clean and tidy. There was no sockets readily available near the bed to plug your phone in to use as an alarm. The breakfast was okay but not great. But it was simple...

We exhibit at the NEC every year, and have stayed each time at the whitehouse, latterly being in the house next door which is perfect for us. A very friendly and accommodating b&b, clean and very well presented. Cooked breakfast really does set you up for the day. We love this place, long may it continue.

Carolyn runs a really nice B & B that will set you up with a lovely breakfast if you're off to foreign parts early. She even arranged for a taxi to come and pick us up and let us leave our car there for a small fee. Excellent service and very comfortable rooms and dining room.

“There are very few restaurants near but it is only one train stop to new street if you want more variety. We were fine with fish and chips take out and the local tavern food as we did not have a car. There is also an Indian restaurant but we did not eat there so I can't comment on it.”

“Not really. My room overlooked the well maintained back garden, and was quiet [apart from the aforementioned airport noise]. Not sure whether the rooms at the front of the house might be noisier due to the road, although it didn't appear particularly busy.”
