we arrived in the late afternoon and met a very friendly and helpful lady managing the reception. This together with some recommendations on where to have dinner gave us a very good first impression followed by some bad surprises. The bathroom was not clean but moreover there was a bathroom cabinet housing the remains from previous guests such as used...

i had a reservation with this property for HOYS which we attend every year. Cancelled back in August when our plans changed only to find that the owner, Mrs Raja, took £99 from my card despite the cancellation. I called to discuss and was very unhelpful. Booking.com are investigating as are the fraud dept of my bank. I also liaised...

We were surprised when we first saw the hotel, it was actually a detached house on an estate. We were impressed when we went inside, Our rooms were ok ,but we couldn't understand that when we went out in the evening, someone had come in our room and turned the lights on, it didn't really matter ,but we have never...

Odd place. It's a converted 4/5 bedroom house in a modern housing estate so a little difficult to find. It's been done up in some weird kind of mock tudor Shakespearian style abode. Completely inauthentic but very funny all the same. The room was spacious and comfortable, if a little stuffy at night (opening the window resolved that problem). Plenty...

Staff very welcoming and helpful but the cleanliness wasn't quite up to scratch with things like hairs left in the shower, light missing in the bathroom ceiling leaving a very dusty cobweb filled hole, lamps in the room not working, blood spots on the pillow case. They have nice touches in the rooms like biscuits and snacks but then ruin...

Not sure how 4*. We stayed in Hamlet (definitely not a deluxe room.......we have stayed in cleaner travel lodge rooms). Although the room itself was nice and reasonably clean the en suite was the worst we have seen. The pictures say it all. Breakfast was ok (no bacon) but not a huge issue. The issue I had at breakfast time...

Booked this based on trip advisor reviews and wasn't disappointed. We had been looking for a place to stay after a concert at the Genting Arena and I was staggered by the price of the hotels on site. Arden House is just 10 minutes from the venue and easily accessible by taxi. The owner booked us a taxi in advance...

Everything was great! Perfect standard, lovely time there. Even we were taken by the owner to the nice, Indian restaurant. Breakfast was very nice - I have choosen continental one. I definitely recommend.

I was welcomed by the charming owner who showed me to my room, provided some fresh milk for my tea and morning coffee. She suggested places to eat nearby. The B&B is a modern house, with proper central heating, double glazed against the noise of Birmingham, except, the house is situated on the edge of a modern estate with parkland...
