Where do I start… the staff incredible, the food to die for, the beach clean, picturesque, the room views and luxury, the spa rejuvenating, the location quiet and private. Jashita is exactly what we where looking for, it did not disappoint in any way. We spent most of the day lounging at the beach which is so beautiful, the staff accommodated our every need, they treat you like family here. Don’t think twice when choosing Jashita and the Tulum hotel strip. Unforgettable trip, thank you Jashita see you again soon!

What a beautiful hotel and restaurant. It is private, secluded and breath taking. The service is superior year after year. A quick shout out to our servers today Gerardo, Maricello and the general manager, Daniel. Year after year you make our dinning experience memorable. It is a highlight of our annual trip to Mexico.

We spent a couple of nights here at the end of our trip to Belize & Mexico and it didn't disappoint. We had room 23 which is an upstairs suite overlooking the beach. The room was very comfortable with a sofa in the room & a double day bed on the balcony along with a couple of hammocks. The little touches were great, like the beach bag in the room to carry your beach towels around and a lovely bottle of Soave on arrival. The ladies on reception were very helpful and allowed us a late check out which made all the difference to us. There are lots of different areas to relax around the hotel, the two adult pools are both very nice (we didn't really look at the children's pool) but we preferred the sea. The lounges on the beach are super comfortable. The hotel does a fantastic job of keeping the sea & beach area free from seaweed. Food was great as was the service in the restaurant. We didn't try the spa, it looked very nice but a bit too pricey for us, as was the adventure hut. although the staff in the adventure hut were very helpful. Free Sangria between 1pm & 2pm at the roof top pool. The only disappointing thing for me was that all the other hotels we had stayed in provided free purified water and that wasn't the case here which is pricey for us and not great for the environment but everything else was spot on.

We came to celebrate our honeymoon. We were on a high and had come from staying at a lovely boutique hotel in Coba for the first part of our honeymoon. The setting and the hotel itself are beautiful and unbeatable in terms of the beach, views and pool. It’s secluded, quiet and tranquil. The staff in the restaurant, poolside and on the beach (in the adventure shack and at the bar) were so lovely and so wonderfully helpful! Thank you - the margaritas were delicious! These things saved this place! The front of house/concierge staff leave a little to be desired however. They are not the friendliest or most helpful of people. We asked for local restaurant recommendations and received a blank look. When asking about parking in the hotel zone, again a blank look. The team slightly redeemed themselves sorting a cooking course for us which we would highly recommend but otherwise it seemed like no one had ever left the hotel before and it was a bit of a shock for them. Also, just as a note, when we first checked in the lady who showed us around told us to make sure everything was put in the safe as “Mexicans steal everything”, we really felt this was pretty tasteless and not the way you should be greeted at a 5 star hotel. Perhaps a gentle reminder to put valuables in the safe but reassurance that the staff you employ are very trustworthy (which was our experience of the staff!). Would highly recommend hiring a car to explore because taxis are expensive and the hotel is very secluded. Another thing to note are the prices, particularly the spa! We have stayed at some really lovely places including Ulusaba in SA and the Dorchester in London and I have NEVER seen spa prices that come close to these. We were really quite shocked by how expensive it was. The adventure shack is similarly high in price, but we did have an amazing half day scuba in a cenote which we felt was well worth the money. If you do this though, don’t let them fob you off with a packed breakfast. The breakfast at the hotel is amazing and the packed option is a quarter of the value and quite frankly appalling from a 5 star hotel.

We loved the hotel. We booked a standard room for 250/night and they gave us an upgrade to a larger room after our showers didn't work and the hotel was at 20% capacity. (I asked and they gave it to me - however they used it against me when things went wrong and they provided horrible service) I would definitely fire the reception team - everything else is perfect. Clemente who owns the restaurant is one of the most amazing hosts I have experienced. Hands down. Fantastic food. The service was stellar. servers/bartenders/servoce workers were fantastic. But The customer service from the desk staff was miserable. It ruined our experience

Response from tommaso marchiorello, Owner at Jashita Tulum Hotel
Responded Jun 4, 2022
Dear Mr. Andy, Thank you so much for taking the time to review your stay with us. We’re greatly happy to hear you enjoyed your experience at our amazing restaurant, Pandano. And thank you for being such a loyal customer and choosing to dine with us so often. For what concerns the hotel, we first and foremost want to apologize if any receptionist resulted rudely. We can assure you that this was unintended. In fact, our team did their best to offer you the best solutions within their power. It is important for us to say, that the first Free Upgrades were not offered because of the Low Season, and especially not because of the tipping. We have at heart that Guests who book a Standard Room are given the chance to experience our Suites as well, whenever there is availability. The second Upgrade was offered on one of the Suites for the extra night because we understand how stressful losing a flight could be. A third upgrade wasn’t offered because the Guest initially seemed content with the solution. We could have done more and for this, we apologize. We’d like to point out that the broken shower was a minor problem and it was immediately fixed. Our receptionists apologized many times in person and once again through this message. As we told you in person, you have become part of our Jashita Family and we hope to welcome you again soon.

We were recommended to this small 30 room boutique hotel in Tulum after sharing our desire to unplug, relax and feel a mix of luxury and a natural vibe! It does not disappoint. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the restaurant, who like the owners of the hotel (they are all friends) are from Venice, Italy. Needless to say the fresh pasta is incredible, made fresh daily. In fact, the food is made with love! You can tell, it's all delicious. Every dish tastes amazing. The family who own this property turned it into a hotel 12 years ago. It was once there vacation home. The staff is a mixture of Italians and locals. We are ocean front, steps from the water, with an out door shower, hammock and more. Although we were warned about the outbreak of this algae on the beaches, the Jashita crew has done an amazing job at cleaning up the beach before we wake up and generally throughout the day. So we have been enjoying the ocean, soaking up the sun and relaxing by the pool. The weather has been perfect. I had one of the best massages of my life, and still can't get over how great I feel waking up to another relaxing day among the trees, and the birds singing. Very tropical and becuase it's such a small exclusive property, we almost feel like we are the only ones here. This is a WOW for sure, and we are so grateful to have this experience and share our experience with you.

We truly enjoyed our second visit to Jashita, five years after the first one. The hotel is beautiful and chic, and I highly recommend the rooms closest to the beach. The staff are all wonderful and the food a great mix of Italian and Mexican. It is cozy, quiet and incredibly comfortable. We will be back next year!
