We went to watch the rugby for breakfast. Almost all the breakfast orders were wrong- for the pub, not just our table. The chef was getting irate with the staff, and the staff were under pressure. The pub food is average at best- and more reheat and deep fat fry than fresh food found elsewhere in Arrowtown. This place is...

This is the worst food experience I have had in the 9 years since we have moved back to NZ. Fish of the day was extremely dry! I changed to whitebait half the price but they were supposed to make it larger to meet the original price and they increased the eggs which were battery and decreased the white bait....

Went here for dinner with two grandchildren, they were listened to as they ordered and staff were happy to adjust menu selection to suit tastes. Adult dinners were huge and we struggled to eat it all. Definitely good value for money.

Stopped in here for a snack as we had had a late breakfast. We ordered the ham cheese tomato and onion Toasties (without the onion). When our sandwiches arrived the ham was straight off the bone - thick cuts of ham, the cheese oozing out of the sides of the grainy bread, with the tomatoes providing the right balance in...

We stopped in here on a cold day for a coffee and hot chocolate and enjoyed sitting in the open lounge in front of a nice big roaring fire. It was very cosy and we would definitely go there again on other visits

A budget hotel for the budget travelers we were. We regrettably paid for the breakfast option. I do not recommend this. The room however was adequate, for being the cheapest hotel in town (despite being $100 per night). I rate this hotel a 4.5/10.

I have never stayed here but often pop in for their daily $2.50 take away coffee (or tea). Upgrade to a large for just $3.50 its the best value good coffee you will find in Arrowtown. New Orleans also offers FREE WI FI to their clients. There is a great outside deck that gets plenty of sun which is great...

The Hotel itself has been modernised and was very cosy and comfortable to sit and have a meal and/or a drink. Unfortunately that's where the comfort ended. Our room was very small, there were no bedside tables to put a glass of water on or even a bedside lamp. The bed was comfortable enough I suppose, but overall a bit...

Had Room 6 initially but the bathroom ceiling leaked during heavy rain. The staff quickly moved me across the courtyard to Rm5. Try to book rooms 1-5 as these are the more modern & better quality. Rooms 6-10 are in need of a refurb as painted block walls should now be gone from NZ motels & hotels. The staff are...

It is a bad sign when you go into a place that has two different names and three different menus. It's not sure if it's an Irish pub, a hotel restaurant or an Asian restaurant. In their attempt to do all three they fail at any. We went over an hour before a movie and ordered for all the food...
