We stayed for 2 nights at The Arrowtown Lodge in Rosie’s room. The room was large and had a very comfortable bed and a lovely seating area in the garden. Breakfast was served at 8.30 in the main house. Paul, the host, was welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. It was a very short work into the village centre.

We had the most beautiful stay at this cosy and welcoming accommodation in Arrowtown. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by our friendly host Paul who was extremely welcoming and knowledgable. We hadn’t booked much for this trip and didn’t realise how difficult it would be to even get a dinner reservation but after a couple minutes Paul was on the phone and worked his magic and we had a reservation at La Rumbla restaurant which was an incredible experience. Our room was luxurious with a generous sized courtyard where we entertained our family each night and we were lucky enough to have a spa outside our room hidden away amongst the gorgeous gardens. This place is only a stones throw away from the town centre and you could easy stumble home after dinner. A great place and we will be back again as we loved it here and a big thank you to a Paul who also gave brilliant recommendations on what to do. Everything. He recommended was on point and the bike ride to the vineyards was outstanding . Thanks Paul for an amazing stay- you made it that little bit more special. We will be back. Mario and Rudi

Comfortable room in a great spot, with a wonderful host. We booked from Sydney airport when it became apparent we were going to miss our connection in Queenstown. Paul was so helpful and we met him the following morning over some of the best bacon and eggs I have ever had. The lodge is a couple of hundred metres from the historic main street of Arrowtown. An altogether great experience in one of our favourite places on earth.

We stayed here for one night (wish it was more) after a 4 day bike trip. What a wonderful 'reward'. The Lodge is beautifully decorated with an amazing garden setting. Our room was Tobin's and our friends Rosie's. Its a perfect setup for friends as you both share a lovely outdoor seating area with fireplace. Paulo was a great host and breakfast was truly delicious. The Lodge has a little back gate which takes you directly down to the main street of Arrowtown. Although our room was relatively small it was well appointed. The only criticism is that the bathroom has no window or fan so there is a lot of steam build up after a shower. Arrowtown dinner recommendation - La Rumbla !!

Wonderful spot short stroll to where the action is. Welcoming friendly and knowledgeable owner and gorgeous rooms that are characterful and comfortable. Outdoor area was inviting and loved the breaky and small touches like fresh flowers in the rooms….

We are regular visitors of Arrowtown and on this occasion decided to stay at the Arrowtown Lodge. The property has a unique charm and the photographs on their website make this property very appealing. We stayed in 'Rosies' room but nfortunately the photographs were misleading and did not equal the styling and luxury they portrayed. The room is tired and in need of a revamp. The paint work scuffed and discoloured, woodwork chipped, grout around the tiles in the bathroom mouldy, the shower head itself the cheapest fitting from bunnings, wood panels missing in the bathroom window, a miss match of mugs and glasses provided, a broken ironing board and dirty light fittings to name a few. On a positive note the bed was firm but comfortable and the breakfast provided, freshly cooked and more than adequate. The host who is not the owner of the property was pleasant but did not go above and beyond to make us feel valued guests. This property has huge potential, it's a shame the current owners don't see value in improvements.

We loved our stay here on a wintery night in June. Room was warm and cosy and the outdoor shared fireplace was perfect. Beautiful views and Paul made us an even more beautiful breakfast. Can't fault it at all! Thank you.

5 of us stayed 4 nights in the Studio and Loft rooms, rooms very well appointed, breakfast was excellent and Paul was very accommodating allowing us to use the outdoor fire area from another room and provided excellent ideas for activities. Highly recommend if you are looking for a BnB in Arrowtown.
