Travelling solo from Darwin to Cairns in my little Toyota Yaris, with no cruise control and just getting over a broken ankle meant short driving sessions. I stayed in one of the new cabins at the rear, really nice with little truck noise. Ate at the roadhouse, can recommend the barra (9/10). My only complaint, there are obviously a lot... More

This is one of my favorite places to stay on our travels the place is our the back of the roadhouse and the amenities are looking at little sad these days but the place is great! The owners are helpful and friendly we were there on census night you have to be quick to get a camping spot in the... More

This roadhouse is just 25 km's from Tennant Creek but is a great option for a stopover, I think it's better than going into Tennant Creek I usually stay here unless they are booked out! With everything here you need including a restaurant and bar with a pool table for a bit of fun, this place has character for sure,... More

Considering this place is only 19 Klas from Tennant Creek it is disgusting that they are charging 45 cents per litre more than Tennant Creek prices. It maybe sort of an icon and conveniently positioned but there is no excuse for the absobenent fuel price. If you are coming from the east to go north go Tennant Creek for fuel,... More

These rooms are set at the rear of the park and surprisingly quiet. The rooms have all you would need for a stopover for a trip south. There is a common bbq area although we didn't use this. A quick meal in the pub sufficed as a decent basic pub meal. Would recommend this, but book the Glendale room. Ps... More

We chose to stay here despite a large number of bad review which seem mainly to be about the cabins - some looked old and some looked fairly new can't comment on inside The caravan park was really nice though. Good sized site, several trees and grassy site where we were , some sites at the back were dirt. Shower... More

We travelled up from Alice Springs, where we stayed at the 3 Ways en route to Mt. Isa. A bit of confusion over our accommodation, but that got easily sorted. The place was a hive of activity, with travellers either, getting fuel, food, booking accommodation or caravan space. It was bursting. After we settled into our digs, which were comfortable... More

Stayed in the Glendale units to the rear of the property. No road noise, although neighbouring unit had a screaming kid and heavy feet! Ample parking. Small, cramped room with ensuite. Tea and coffee - 4 beds and only 2 cups/glasses. Hubby spent the night bashing his arm on the wardrobe every time he rolled over! Great for an overnight... More

stayed here on way back from Darwin. Stayed at the new units at the rear of the place, was clean and tidy with enough room for vehicles. Able to have the dog outside the unit with no issues. Food was good at the roadhouse, huge feed.
