Arrived mid afternoon and met by a scruffy, tattooed bloke at the gate. Checked in ($20) and got a reasonable site. Power and water. Amenities pretty ordinary. Campground right beside the highway and road trains pretty noisy. Nothing special.

This is a very quite place to stay not much money, hot showers, happy hour around a bush fire it's great. You are able to see donkey ,camels, and hear lots of birds. Nice staff running the park very helpful , the cost per night is only $20.00 cheap way out bush.

Lovely surprise in the middle of nowhere. Clean amenities. Grassy sites which is amazing this time of year. Extremely friendly reception from the owners (even an icy pole for the kids!). Kids also loved the resident donkeys and camels. Well done.

Most vans back into a lovely grassed area forming a circle by the end of day. The amenities are a little way back but are clean with good showers. One washing machine but plenty of line space. Happy hour did not work around the fire. Disappointed that only one little door to the historic building was open with a tiny... More

Whilst there may not be powered sites, there is grass and good water, a campfire and clean facilities. Unlike many camping spots, it also has the opportunity to go for a walk which we found a pleasant change. Even if you climb Mt Barka.......which will take all of 5 mins, you can get a good view of the surrounding country.

This station stay was a good overnight stay for $20. It was unpowered but a nice level grassed area for caravanners. The amenities were good and it was a quiet night even though we were parked near the main road. An excellent stop after a long drive.

A good place to kick back and meet some fellow travelers. Only unpowered sites but for $20 they were fine. Good camp fire in the evening to have a chat with some fellow travelers. The amenities were basic - but good showers and clean. A good stop off point after three ways. In retrospect we might have gone to Longreach... More

Nice sized campground sites with water but no power. Plenty of grass, basic facilities which is reflected by the price. It is more than adequate for a stop over for travellers. Friendly place which filled quite rapidly from early afternoon and was packed by evening. A rather large campfire was setup behind the bar in the evening and was the... More

Pretty basic but reasonably grassy sites. it is also friendly and well priced. The evening entertainment will bring out the country and western fan hidden inside you - whether you know it is there or not.
