We stayed here although not out of choice as our car had broken down, but the staff were helpful throughout our stay and were more than happy to be able to point us in the right direction of the different things which we needed. The only fault which I can come up with is one of the reception staff were... More

Friendly service. Good shady camping/caravan sites. Clean toilets and showers. Camp kitchen could be improved, the hot water in kitchen sinks weren't working for our 5 nights there. The hot plates for cooking with pots/pans etc were worn and some nobs were broken, making it less than easy to use. Other than that, this is a good caravan park.

Situated a little out of town on Peko Road, this is the park recommended if you want a quiet nights sleep. Well designed large drive through sites, clean ablutions and camp kitchen and also a dump point. Washing machines at $4 per load. Well provisioned shop on site for those things you forget to get in the towns IGA store.... More

We have stay in the on site cabins at Outback Caravan Park in Tennant Creek at least 3 times and we have always found then very clean and comfortable. the staff have always been friendly and helpful. There is usually a campfire and a bush food sampling in the evenings a good way to relax with a few drinks, the... More

This park is situated in a quieter part of the town away from the Stuart Highway. It is the more expensive of the two parks in the town at $38 per night for a powered site in May 2016. Some sites have concrete pads beside the van parking area. The showers and toilets were generally clean but although they had... More

Dear Camper, Thank you for your comments. First of all you did not state why the Entertainment was cancelled, it may have been because he was SICK which is out of our control, SORRY for the disappointment as we know Jimmy has to be really sick for him not to do his Show. WIFI - you would have been told... More

The parking areas for the motor home were very spacious so plenty of room for everyone. The amenities were very clean. The little shop attached to reception was well stocked, which was helpful. The dump point was next to the camp kitchen which was a surprise & a bit hard to find! But overall we enjoyed our stay & would... More

we stayed 3 nights in a cabin and arrived with car troubles. the office staff were extremely understanding and helpful. we had to keep extending on short notice and even though they were very busy they understood our situation. the cabin was basic but very clean and comfortable. Jimmy the bush tucker man is well worth going to and the... More

We stayed on powered site no. 5 which is next to the camp kitchen. The sites are all very long drive through sites which is handy if you are only staying one night and don't want to unhook your van or if you had a big bus you would definitely fit in. The camp kitchen was pretty ordinary with a... More

This caravan park is a good base to walk into town or Mine Centre. The sites are generous and easy to get into. The amenities are clean and roomy. The Owners are very helpful and pleasant. Jimmy the Bush Tucker Man is a real bonus with his stories and bush tucker tastings. This Town has a bad reputation which is... More

We were advised to stay in the cabins at this location by regular visitors to the area. The big plus was "Jimmy" the amazing Aboriginal story teller who entertained the group with his ballads. He then gave a hands on presentation of bush tucker and music.
