We have stay in the on site cabins at Outback Caravan Park in Tennant Creek at least 3 times and we have always found then very clean and comfortable. the staff have always been friendly and helpful. There is usually a campfire and a bush food sampling in the evenings a good way to relax with a few drinks, the... More

This park is situated in a quieter part of the town away from the Stuart Highway. It is the more expensive of the two parks in the town at $38 per night for a powered site in May 2016. Some sites have concrete pads beside the van parking area. The showers and toilets were generally clean but although they had... More

The parking areas for the motor home were very spacious so plenty of room for everyone. The amenities were very clean. The little shop attached to reception was well stocked, which was helpful. The dump point was next to the camp kitchen which was a surprise & a bit hard to find! But overall we enjoyed our stay & would... More

we stayed 3 nights in a cabin and arrived with car troubles. the office staff were extremely understanding and helpful. we had to keep extending on short notice and even though they were very busy they understood our situation. the cabin was basic but very clean and comfortable. Jimmy the bush tucker man is well worth going to and the... More

We stayed on powered site no. 5 which is next to the camp kitchen. The sites are all very long drive through sites which is handy if you are only staying one night and don't want to unhook your van or if you had a big bus you would definitely fit in. The camp kitchen was pretty ordinary with a... More

This caravan park is a good base to walk into town or Mine Centre. The sites are generous and easy to get into. The amenities are clean and roomy. The Owners are very helpful and pleasant. Jimmy the Bush Tucker Man is a real bonus with his stories and bush tucker tastings. This Town has a bad reputation which is... More

We were advised to stay in the cabins at this location by regular visitors to the area. The big plus was "Jimmy" the amazing Aboriginal story teller who entertained the group with his ballads. He then gave a hands on presentation of bush tucker and music.

We chose this park so we would be a little bit out of town. Nice park with quite a few drive through extra long sites - ideal for a one night stopover which is all we had. Basic, older style amenities. Warm welcome from lovely staff. Very quiet even on a Friday night. Fuel expensive compared to the BP in... More

This is typical of most of the Outback caravan park, quite dusty and the only grass is for campers, not too bad at least the pool was very handy. The amenities could do with a bit of TLC and of a night they need better lighting as the men's is very hard to see and my wife told me she... More

On our way to Darwin from Adelaide, we stayed here for a night. Very welcoming we had dinner outside using their BBQ facilities which was easy to clean up although perhaps a little tired and could do with a makeover. Cabin had everything we needed for the night.
