Picturesque campground. Loved the Outback Bar, great place to have a drink and meal and listen to music. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rim walk at Kings Canyon is amazing and the highlight of my holiday to NT.

The campground was surprisingly good, even if quite basic. Kings Canyon is an amazing place to walk, we very much enjoyed the experience and spent an extra day. Even the bitterly cold wind did nit detract from the natural beauty of this place.

Spent the last 3 nights at The Resort on a powered site. My first response is that this is a very good camp ground; not the best we've stayed in on our trip up the centre, but very good. In a previous review of the camp ground, some nong complained about the site being 'red dirt!'.....it's not 'dirt' its soil... More

Our powered site overlooked the fabulous ranges as they were lit up by the sunset providing the perfect backdrop for pre-dinner drinks. The campground is an easy drive from King's Canyon, with one of the Australia's most spectacular walks on beautifully constructed trails.

Loved the campground, plenty of shower blocks close by. Kings Canyon close by, easy to go for walk while the other half slept in. $20 for 10 liters of water is a bit pricey, I know it's a remote location but that's a bit over the top. Will definitely be back but will ensure we bring all supplies, looking forward... More

Thanks Drew Mackenzie 8 .. glad to read you enjoyed the Kings Canyon Rim Walk and the delights of the campground with Watarrka National Park . Our prices do reflect being able to offer the services and facilities we do in such a remote area but many travellers are self contained with supplies for their stay here , but good... More

This was our first visit. Impressed by friendly and efficient staff, clean campgrounds and amenities. Given more time (and warmer weather), we would have tried the restaurants and outdoor dining. Loved the "wet bar" at the sunset viewing platform.

We arrived at Kings Canyon in the peak of the school holidays in July. We knew from our experience at Yulara the 2 nights before that it would be busy so we made sure we arrived there in the early afternoon. We received a non-powered site no problems. The showers were HOT! with good water pressure and very clean. There... More

We stayed at the Campground with our Caravan, the view from there was awesome and the sound of wild budgies in the trees was great. We dined at Carmichaels Restaurant which was an amazing experience in itself. The resort is well managed and maintained and I would happily recommend a stay here

We enjoyed our stay here although the amenities could use an update. The sites were spacious and well serviced. The pub was great and the staff very helpful. We all had pizzas in the bar but there was an extensive BBQ menu if you preferred. One tip, whilst there is tv in the bar, elsewhere in the park tv reception... More
