Stayed in the chalet during the wet season. Was pleasantly surprised to find the air-conditioner on and ice water in the fridge! Room was clean and comfortable. Our only criticism was that they had forgotten to give us the WiFi password and the after hours number was not being picked up. Location is great, walking distance to the boat tours. Highly recommend doing walking track to the Baruwei lookout in the morning before it gets too hot. Beautiful views
We were unexpectedly surprised at the excellent meal we had at the Poolside Bistro. Not only was it good quality and lots to choose from at a reasonable cost, the chef was friendly, helpful and had a sense of humour.
My fiancé and I had a fabulous meal at the poolside bistro during our stay at cicada lodge in Nitmiluk National Park. We were so well looked after by Rob, Rita and CJ who were on staff that night. The food was amazing but this was surpassed by the staff and service. This night really added to our experience at Nitmiluk. Just the kind of people you would hope to meet on your trip through the top end. Thanks again guys!!!
Having read the negative reviews on here i have reached the conclusion thst its a bit rich aussies calling us brits 'whinging poms'!!! Spent 2nights in a chalet here. What a fantastic place. Chalet was great. Well equipped quiet in a fantastic location and even had air conditioning. Amazing. The tour centre was staffed by helpful people and the 2gorge tour was amazing. This place is similar to national park resorts in the US. Highly recommend. And for whinging Australians. Please appreciate what you have got.
Stayed in the so called chalets. Worse mattress ever, felt all metal parts all night and could not sleep. Very old and damaged furniture and walls. Dirty. Never cleaned the filters on the ventilation in the bath room or the walls in the sleeping room.
