We have just completed the 5 day hike of the Jatbula Trail from Katherine Gorge to Edith falls. On arrival back at the shop we went to sign ourselves out to be rudely told we don't need to do that. We continued to sign ourselves and leave a comment in the book as it requests. Our whole hike all we... More

You camp just 200 meters from the huge plunge pool, deep and refreshing for a swim (or 2!) each day. Shady camp sites on green lawns. Great walks to the upper pools or Sweetwater pool if you like a hike. But a highlight is the coffee at the kiosk and their toasted sandwiches and home made vegie pasties! Get there... More

Great stay at Edith Falls Katherine NT The atmosphere and the staff are great,we spent 5 nights here and loved every minute the swim in the natural flowing water holes are refreshing and healthy. The walking tracks are well set out for everyone to follow, they are reasonably easy to do. Thank you. Wayne and Gabrielle Apollo Bay,Vic

Mature aged couple with 20ft caravan who last stayed here in mid 2014. The park continues to provide a very relaxed location with good ablutions. As it is non powered and no generators permitted travellers need to be aware of their power supplies. Also must take all your own rubbish out.this may become a problem if staying extended periods. Walk... More

Site rented: unpowered tent/camp site Pros: - kiosk on-site - ablutions blocks with showers, toilets and sinks - plenty of shade - sites are less then 200m walk to the water - ample day parking available - various hiking trails catering to all abilities Cons: - a little pricey for unpowered sites (charge is per person) - about 30min drive... Great place to camp for a few days. Good service. Sites are quite seperate from each other, giving you a lot of space. Each has a lawn! No power so be aware when it it is hot. 29m deep pool at main falls. 2.6km walk to other falls and swim is very good. Lots of bird life. Agile wallabies.

This is a fabulous camp ground. I am not sure why the picture that comes up is of the bathroom block, given the gorgeous location of the camp site! No camp fires allowed, but a great camp ground for swimming and walking and getting away from Darwin for the weekend.

Fantastic camping ground with over 30 bird types with great walks to terrific water falls to swim in. So nice we stayed 2 days with no other campers at this time of year as it's the wet season and boy was it humid ☀️

Unlike most campgrounds in the outback this one has grass and shade. Very close is a beautiful lagoon/plunge pool below the Lower Edith falls. A beautiful spot to wash off the dust and the heat. A 2.6 km, 1-1/2 hr. trail makes a big loop around the Lower Pool to the Upper Falls and lagoon. Not a tough hike but... More
