This place surprises you.. Rooms (Tents) are really great and a wonderful experience. Hosts are great and you feel very welcome. The excursion to the rock paintings in the afternoon was a great way to experience Kakadu. Hawk Dreaming Wilderness Lodge is a great base if you want to explore this part of Kakadu.

My friend and I were lucky enough to stay at Hawk Dreaming Wilderness Lodge after joining the Arnhemlander tour and Guluyambi cruise. Hawk dreaming is Kakadu's best kept secret. Situated in remote Kakadu, in sacred aboriginal territory, Hawk dreaming offers a magical intimate stay in the beauty of stunning Kakadu wilderness. The accomodation offers immaculate "glamping" style tents, with a...

We had two nights here and except for a few little problems we enjoyed the lodge and the environment. The lodge was comfortable having twin beds and ensuite facilities. Did have trouble with the hot water but worked out that you had to run it for at least 5 minutes to get the hot water through as the heater was...

We had two enjoyable nights at the Hawk Dreaming Wilderness Lodge as part of the APT tour of 19 people. Key points: 1) The tent was comfortable with an ensuite & an electric fan. Insect spray & repellent was supplied in each tent 2) Shower facility was better than expected. Our hot water system was very good but some of...

I found the camp-style accomodation very appropriate, clean and comfortable. Our hosts Abi and Daniel were excellent, so warm and hospitable. At the end of each long day we were greeted by their smiles...

We stayed here for one (was supposed to be two but we left early even though we had paid in advance) night in August 2014. The rooms and food were fairly basic which in itself is absolutely fine but they come with a 5* price tag comparable to other tented camps in the area of a much higher quality. In...

We stayed here for two nights. The Accommodation was amazing when you consider the setting, your in the middle of no where. The food was to a very high standard and so was the service, there was nothing the staff couldn't do for us. I felt privileged to be allowed in to such a unseen area of Kakadu. The rock...

We enjoyed the tour of this very special part of Australia, and would highly recommend this to any prospective visitor. It is a restricted area of Kakadu, and you are made...
