We just had one night at this hotel. It is basic but clean and the rooms are pleasant with a small veranda. The food was good although served rather canteen style. Its a convenient place to get to if you are heading out from Darwin. The yellow water cruises, which should not be missed, are 5 mins away and a...

Arriving at the lodge was pleasant. Welcoming staff and we were directed to a one bedroom bungalow in a quite part of the grounds. The evening meals are served around the swimming pool and it was very comfortable while we were there in September. Great activities within easy driving from the lodge makes it a great base in Kakadu.

The Yellow Waters cruises are a must do so staying at Cooinda Lodge makes sense. Room is not grand and had one double and one single bed. Stone floor, air con, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary water. Bathroom quite small, wet room really but shower was OK. The grounds are lovely with beautiful palm trees and tropical plants....

Dear jaav, Thank you for reviewing our Cooinda Lodge Kakadu managed by Accor. Whilst every lodge room has either a Queen or King bed plus a single (family rooms have 2 singles) we have started work on refurbishing them all. Management have begun discussions with the owners regarding developing the property over the next couple of seasons so it's exciting...

We swept into Cooinda late in the day and found the park with plenty of space, great, no noisy neighbours. The park is big, well treed and easy to find all the services. We were staying for just the night and as it was hot when we arrived we headed straight to one of the pools. as a southerner I...

Staff were quite friendly and helped us book some of our activities. The room itself is quite dated but surprisingly large with a massive comfy bed! The room and facilities were very clean and well kept. Food was great and we had lunch, dinner and breakfast there!

We had very much bothered by ants. After a complaint to have it was said that that was normal in this park. the ants walk just about our kissing and between the sheets. We had 4 days booked, the pool was very beautiful and delicious.

Dear keuben, Thank you for reviewing Cooinda Lodge Kakadu managed by Accor. Please accept our sincerest apologies for our "over-friendly" wildlife. The green ants are native to the local area and their presence is actually heartening for us - green ants are sometimes referred to as biological control agents reducing the damage that other insects do, for example, to the...

Stayed at the powered camp site. Well managed camper site with all facilities provided, including a petrol station. Strolling distance to the start of the yellow river cruises. The restraunt was reasonably priced for the location and the sundry shop provided all the basic nessesities. Campsite toilets and bathrooms were clean and well maintained.

We stayed a couple of nights in one of the lodges. It was clean, spacious with good air conditioning and a good hot shower. Breakfast was fine. Evening meal average.
