Hotel is very dated & badly in need of renovation. Restaurant is more like a roadside diner with restaurant prices. Very disappointing barramundi. For the first time ever I didn't eat all. No red wine available by the glass. Reception staff were excellent.

We were a group of 4 staying for 4 nights while we fished the South Alligator River. We experienced some boat trouble on the first day and staff member Martin went out of his way to offer assistance. The rooms we certainly fit for purpose for what we wanted, double beds, great shower, fridge restocked with ample fresh bottled water...

Stayed for two nights in late April, resort has good on site facilities, shop, restaurant with good food; is a tad expensive (but you are in the middle of nowhere !) Swimming pool with shade sail covering, good grassy areas and a really relaxing place to stay, However the accommodation although clean and tidy was dated and the exterior of...

Stayed one night as part of AAT Kings Kakadu tour from Darwin. Check-in was rushed as it closed early evening as did the shop which set the tone for the out of season feel. Restaurant shut and only eating venue open was noisy bar cum snooker room with conference guests dominating area. Pool was nice but spoiled by people sitting...

Wonderful staff, could not be more helpful. It's also an information center for the area and they will book tours etc. The site is fairly large but well kept. I had a "superior room" which was an upper room. Being wood it became very hot in daytime and the air con could not cope. OK at night though. The room...

It's an old place that is very dated. It could use a major update. We were quite comfortable though & as there is not a lot of choice we made do. The pool was appreciated in the hot weather. The breakfast was good.

Accomodation is limited in Kakadu NP. Obviously, this means that hotels do not see the need to do more than the minimum. At least, that is my impression for the Aurora. The room, though basic, is clean and big enough. For a price of about a 100 US$ you might expect more amenities, though. Okay, this is a resort in...

From 1000 feet in the air, over light plane flight, the croc shape of the hotel certainly was different. Rooms a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. Pool was fine. Courtyard fairly dated, with old furniture that had seen better days, but it didn't worry us, it performed its function. The check in area was the most up to date...

Stayed during the wet season and Christmas holidays so expected storms, reduced service and a quieter time etc. Good stuff - Location is good, right inside the national park, loads of wildlife around. The place is well kept, a bit outdated but generally really clean. It's in the wilderness so we expected some rough edges. Room was good, Spacious, nice...
