Chateau de Lacomte is an adult only site, in order to maintain the unmeasurable peace and quiet of its location. The site offers facilities for Caravans, Tents, Trailer-Tents, Motor Homes & American style RVs. All our pitches are fully serviced and spacious. We also offer a Gite, Chalets and Mobile Homes for rent. The site is serenely situated within a natural setting of 32 acres of beautiful parkland enjoying picturesque views of calm surrounding countryside. On your arrival the quiet murmur of 'simply nothing at all' combined with the enchanting sounds of bird song will transport you into the realms of reverie and meditation. It's nestled between the Lot and the Dordogne rivers, enjoying a tranquil location in the heart of the beautiful Regional Natural Park Causses du Quercy. There is an abundance of wildlife with deer, wild boar, rare butterflies and the natural wonders and beauty of all the flora and fauna, including wild orchids, will capitivate you. The peacefulness of our location allows you to absorb the surrounding beauty, gorgeous perfumes of flowering foliage and deep rich colours that create this picturesque region of the Lot. The area is superb for people of all ages. A great location for Bird watchers, Botanists, Photographers and Artists, where magnificent visions can be recorded and frozen in time. Hi, If you really want a sunny pitch it's not a problem as most are looking for shade while it's as hot as it is now !!!! However we can accommodate you with what ever you require at the time of arrival. KR Stuart Coe
