Nice rooms and neat service, but all too bad kitchen. Buy a sausage at the gas station. And take your breakfast somewhere else.

To the employees: Clean the coffee machine before guests arrive. It's hopeless to be without real coffee. The tables were not cleaned and prepared for new guests. Lights on the tables, however, could raise the impression a bit, especially considering that we were there for Christmas.
Empty for eggs, little bread and the dishes were almost empty and the breakfast still has 2 hours left before it closes... sad

This is an airport hotel, convenient when your flight is early in the morning.
The room was large and clean.
My flight was at 6 am, so at 5 I checked out and a breakfast, include din the price, was planned which consisted in "one sandwich" (no choice).
The previous night I had dinner int he restaurant and the choice was also very limited.
There is room for improvement, thus

In the last 2 weeks I’ve stayed there twice.
First night was no problem.
On my return I got room 516, the noise from the elevator disturbed me all night.
Screaming kid next door didn’t help , but that’s not the hotel’s fault.
Ask for a room away from the lift and you’ll be fine, soundproofing against aircraft is top, against neighbors, not so good.

This is an extremely convenient hotel for early morning flights but is sadly well below expected and experienced Radisson standards. Stayed several times due to convenience with airport but I would recommend to avoid unless flight is a red eye. Much better hotels in Trondheim. The rooms are well kept and appointed, the front desk staff are very helpful and efficient but the one restaurant (longhorn) is a disaster, menu is fatally minimalistic in choice, the service is always atrocious. Staff are either not trained, not capable or have other duties beside the restaurant. Every time I have dined there it simply gets worse. I now simply walk into airport terminal and get a sandwich ….. or book a later flight and stay in Trondheim.

On the day we arrived at the hotel, we were told that we had to pay NOK 3,000 extra for the children we had with us. We booked a room for 4, and they had probably tried to send an inquiry that the room was more expensive with children, even though we were able to book the room for 4. If they arranged for the children to spend the night, we would have to pay. We finally "negotiated" until we "only" had to pay NOK 1,500 extra. We checked after check-in that an email had arrived from them the day before we were to check in, then we saw in a long line that they had written that we had to pay NOK 1500 for children. So the fact that they demanded NOK 3,000 when we checked in was very special. When we got to the room, everything was already packed, so very special to "threaten" that nothing had been arranged for them when we arrived after a 9 hour long drive.. In addition, there was a small breakfast room, thus people were asked about to leave before they had finished eating. This also happened to us at breakfast on the 2nd day, our children were still eating when the staff started to nag I'm we could go. They had a large restaurant adjacent to the dining room which could well have been opened when they knew the hotel was full.

Bad service, expensive when they demanded a little over NOK 8000 + 3000 extra for the children we had already booked for, and that breakfast was not included!

Parking is also expensive as you have to use the airport car park!

There were many of us who were there in connection with the indoor LS, and we would have booked again if we had been more satisfied. But we have already booked at another hotel for LS 20205 👌🏻😊

We didn't realize that this hotel is literally in the airport, along with the typical airport noise and transient crowd. We mistakenly rented a car to begin a drive through Norway and upon exiting the parking garage, saw our hotel right by the exit. I pulled up to hotel and asked where we could park our hotel and I was told there was no parking, but instead we would have to go back into the airport and pay for overnight parking (if we had known, we wouldn't have rented the car until morning). At check-in, i realized that we intended to book the downtown Radisson. When i asked if we could transfer our reservation if they had rooms, we were told that if we did that we had passed the cancelation time at the airport hotel by 10 minutes and we would be charged an additional night there. The desk staff were young and inexperienced, but friendly. Our room was a typical cutout box with moderate amenities. As it turned out, breakfast was NOT included and overpriced, even by Scandinavian standards, but there are no options unless you want to walk into the airport and get fast-food. All in all, not an impressive hotel for service, but sound for business travelers in need of a place to stay adjacent to the airport.

When I approached the front desk on November 18 after a lengthy travel, I was fatigued. A front desk agent with a name tag that stated "Alex Trainee" welcomed me with a smile and promptly checked me into a room to provide me with the comfort of a bed to sleep in. Alex was friendly and accommodating, as well as professional. He is deserving of a raise and a promotion for the exceptional service he provides to guests at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Trondheim Airport, which contributes to their overall satisfaction.

Last time I was here I wasn’t too happy with the check-in, but this time it was very professional and efficient. The beds are so soft I sleep like a baby, will buy myself a bed like this and dream of a world where all hotel beds are like this! Pillows are very good also. The people who chose beds and pillows did an excellent job and should consult on all hotels!
Room next to runway is no problem, it is almost completely soundproof and not "soundproof" as opposed to the last hotel I stayed in.. Breakfast last time was good, they made it for me even though I was too late and they did it with a warm smile, very nice people. The restuarant food last time was a little boring and I had to fix it myself with vinegar, salt and pepper, but I still remember that the waiter was very professional and efficient.

If they ever chose to renovate, I would go for a less beige/green/orange color palette in the room - make it fresher and less depressing. + more harmoneous combination of pictures, mirrors and furniture. Panorama windows would also be a nice touch.

Over priced. Over rated. Terrible menu in the restaurant. NO CHEF!
Reception had difficulties finding my already paid booking. Elevators could read card for floor access badly - 5-10 tries.
Room were freezingly cold and AC were not working properly - I changed my room at 23.
In the restaurant you could have overpriced pizzas from the fridge or a bad burger. No cook hired? How can you have a restaurant without a cook…
IMO this hotel should reconsider if they wanna be a hotel.
The bed was good. Therefore 1 extra star.

Perfect for travelers by plane! Large room, airy and nicely furnished. Ok bathroom with bathtub. Mini fridge. Good service at the reception. Received 2 bottles of water at no extra charge upon request for a cold drink upon arrival after a long journey. Perfect for us, with an early flight the following morning. 50M away from the entrance to the airport.

Hi, yes they have some kind of day room possibilities, however they charge then almost a day, but ask them via email and get the rates and conditions. I have also had this kind of thing with early arrival/late check out respectively.
