Great central location. Easy access to street and beachfront. The hosts were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make our stay very memorable. The rooms were extremely comfortable and well appointed. There was a fully appointed kitchen

We booked quite late in the year and were originally hoping for one of their Seaview rooms but only poolside was available where we had a family 2 bed unit. It was a little pricey but great to be able have the 2 bedrooms. Turned out even better than Seaview as could relax in the room or in the courtyard...

We stayed only two nights (unfortunately) and had a fantastic time. Bill and Pat Noble were extremely friendly and helpful, even helping us secure a convenient parking space close to the hotel. The hotel is perfectly located opposite the main town jetty. Our children loved the pool and spa. Free access to the surf skis and bikes was a bonus....

We stayed three nights in one of the two rooms that have absolute bay views, those views are to die for. We loved how you have your own little courtyard where you can sit and read with a glass of wine looking at all the activity on the wharf or simply people watch. The unit itself has everything you need...

Close to everything so throw away your keys. Lovely pool (which did need a clean) but otherwise nice. Rooms are good with nice décor. The manager is lovely and friendly and went out of his way to accommodate us. Would recommend this facility.

Located almost in front of the jetty, the hotel was perfect for us. I only wished it was summer time when we visited because the weather wasn't the best. The hotel has great family facilities such as pool, jacuzzi, laundry and well appointed rooms. The location makes this place all the more special. The management were great and very helpful....

We spent five incredibly relaxing days at this little hotel. The location couldn't have been better. We walked everywhere in Russell, never taking our car out from the car park. The Commodore's Lodge is close to everything…restaurants, the museum, the pier where you catch the boats for various tours and the ferry. Just outside the lodge were the most beautiful...

Easy walk to everything in Russell. Very friendly and helpful host. Rooms very clean with nice kitchen. Bicycles, kayaks, swimming pool, and spa. We had a lovely room by the pool which was quiet and peaceful.

Bill and Explorer (the cat) make for a very warm welcome. With the stunning waterfront right on your doorstep and the whole town around you what more could you want? Well an onsite pool, spa, bikes, BBQ and kayaks are useful!

We stayed for 3 nights in a room adjacent to the pool. The motel is located only a few yards walk from the pier with boat trips, sailing trips and many other excursions all to hand. Bill and Pat were very friendly and helpful with nothing being too much trouble. Russell is steeped in history about the early settlers way...
