Set in an elevated site overlooking Nelson. Described by owner Nick as the oldest homestead in the South Island. Lovingly restored by the owners to its original glory. Really quaint and historically important with a rich history. Well worth a stay to learn about Nelson's past.

At short notice I arranged with Nick a surprise night for my wife in the Bay View suite. The setting and help received was perfect. The house is truly unique, rich in history and tastefully restored to its former glory. I recommend Warwick House with out hesitation, Jenny and Nick were the perfect hosts and ensured we had a memorable... More

It's a large interesting gothic house, about a 10 minute walk from the town. We had a very nice suite at the top of the house with great views. The house is full of history & interest. It's not a sterile corporate hotel with all mod-cons. Wifi is not great & technology provided made me smile - it's a bit... More

If you're looking for a unique accommodation and atmosphere in sunny Nelson, than Warwick house is the place for you. The place is beautiful and most importantly, the hosts, Nick & Jenny are wonderful and good people. They helped me a lot in private matters as well and I feel fortunate that our paths have crossed. Warwick House, is simply wonderful. The location is great, and the hosts provide great tips on walks that you can start at the front gate. I stayed, for 6 nights and I loved every minute, of the time, I was there. My room was spotless, and all the public areas were beautiful. Even though I was in the Victorian Suite, there... More

Our flight from Nelson to Auckland was cancelled, which was a bummer as my wife and I had plans to celebrate her birthday in Auckland with family and friends. We had to make last minute accommodation in Nelson, and serendipity brought us to Warwick- what a blessing in disguise. After the bad weather passed (Nelson is known to have the... More

The Warwick House was an old home that had gone through several reincarnations and today is a B&B. Quaint, beautiful, well done. Met some friendly travelers from Great Britain and had appetozers and a couple bottles of wine on the porch that spanned the front of the home.

We flew in from Wellington to stay for only one night. We wanted somewhere unique - close to town and with a bit of history, Warwick house certainly delivered! It is like stepping into a fairy tale when you drive through the gates. Lovely people, comfortable huge room with a large four poster bed and nice period pieces and decorations.... More

A most enjoyable visit to a beautifully restored colonial style house, well situated (a 20-30 minute walk) out of the centre of Nelson, but ideally situated for exploring this very attractive and interesting region of the South Island, with it's super beaches and walks. The house is owned and run by a friendly and helpful couple, who are very knowledgeable... More
