We loved the nooks, crannies and angles of this 150++ year old property. Private room with quirks, big bed, good heating and a kitchenette. Close to town, nice garden and views. We will definitely choose this place again.

The ballroom was perfect for our sitdown dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. The catering seemed effortless (from our perspective) with plenty of room to move around the room to socialise and dance to the fantastic band they had. I was treated to the Princess Room on the last night which was out of this world - I truly felt like a princess. Request it! If I was travelling alone I would have felt very comfortable with plenty of friendly staff to make sure I had everything i needed

Hi Sally, Thank you very much for your nice comments. We are happy that you enjoyed the Bayview Suite while you were here and that the Birthday party went well for your group. Its' always nice to have a group staying here with us at Warwick House and have some nice times in the Ballroom together. This week we had an extended family group of 10 people stay for 5 nights. They got to see everything nice around Nelson and had a great time.

Exactly what we needed. A break from the kids, close to town. Great views, beautiful rooms and grounds. Bed was huge and comfy in the suite at the top. We were well looked after. Breakfast topped it all off. Many thanks. We will be back.

Our time in this place was wonderful, whether the amazing building and everything that it contains or the area where is located, is a good place to stay for visiting Nelson or, like us, to stay for a couple of months. Owners were very helpful with us showing us what is available to do around. Highly recommended.

My room was the "Bayview Suite" & it does live up to it's name .. stunning views out to the water & the mountains, sun streaming in on the lovely bay window seat. Perfect location for near by mountain bike trails. Easy & scenic walk to the town center. Fell in love with Nelson & surrounds - great place for stand up paddle boarding, learning kite surfing & so much more. Mega thanks Nick & Jenny

Dear 'Princess', Many thanks for the lovely comments So pleased you enjoyed your stay here. Having 4 days here with us at least gave you the chance to see a lot of the area and do many of the great things that the Nelson/Tasman area has to offer. Mountain Bike trail riding, paddleboarding off the beaches and estuaries and Kitesurfing at Tahunanui are certainly 3 activities that Nelson caterers very well for. We only wish that more of our guests would spend 4-5 days here so that could enjoy much more of the area. Its only early September now, but the down town already has the start of a 'buzz' happening. We all look forward to the permanent pedestrian open in front of the Cathedral in a few days and the 2 week long Arts Festival and Mask Parade in October. Nick and Jenny Ferrier
