Really cosy and charming house, with a lovely "old-world" feel - a stone's throw from Nelson town centre. Breakfasts were delicious, with beautiful fresh fruit, home-made muesli and a cooked option each morning. Perhaps the highlight was our chat with the hosts Tim and Janet each morning, and their tips and stories about New Zealand proved to be an invaluable...

We stayed for three nights with Janet and Tim at Baywick and had a fantastic time. The house is very well situated; 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Nelson and there is an excellent 20 minute stroll to the centre of New Zealand next to the house. The building is a stunning, traditional 1890s New Zealand house which Janet...

If you are after the usual run of the mill hotel type accommodation don’t bother staying at the Baywick Inn. Tim and Janet the hosts, are very experienced Bed and Breakfast hosts and open their beautiful home up to many visitors. We stayed in the lovely Parkdale Room with our own balcony and plenty of space to move around it....

Thank you for your kind review, we are so glad you enjoyed your B&B experience here. So glad you enjoyed the Parkdale room which we have just finished redecorating as well as putting in a new ensuite. The length of stay is a common complaint, almost everyone wishes they had stayed longer and as there is so much to do...

Our lovely room upstairs in this rimu riverside B&B had a small private sunroom at the front, perfect for cups of tea and storing luggage and a spacious bathroom. Breakfasts were enormous and hospitality warm. Only downside is that the all wooden floor house can be noisy. During the day, one could hear the hosts talking to each other and...

Thank you for your review, we are so pleased that you enjoyed the house. It is wonderful to hear we are doing most things right. I am sorry you found our voices and music too loud during the day, and thank you for bringing it to our attention. In the winter when it is quieter we sometimes forget that we need...

Janet & Tim are truly fabulous hosts & their home is world class. Both so helpful & Janet's breakfasts are amazing!!! We thought their dog Jazz was a great addition too! We will visit again. Highly recommended. Nelson is so pretty too - many places to explore & great restaurants. Linda

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and that Jazz was a hit. I am sure next visit he will want you to take him for a walk up to the centre of NZ! Tim and I both look forward to a 'return' visit, and we hope that you have an excellent overseas holiday. Janet

It's an absolute gem in beautiful surroundings managed graciously by Janet and Tim. Everything is spotless, giving you the homely feeling you dream of when you book at a B&B. Breakfast is sumptuous and conversation is enlightening. The rooms replicate the ground floor, maintaining the same sense of coziness and comfort. When you are there don't miss the walk to...

Nelson is a cozy small town and the Baywick Inn provided us a most comfortable base from which to explore. We stayed in a fantastic room on the second floor of the unattached cottage. A very comfortable luxurious bed, and a spa tub. The main house is a historic landmark with lots of antiques. Tim and Janet are gracious and...

This B&B is located close to town next to a stream. The restored Victorian also has a new matching building, perfectly designed by owner. The room we stayed in had everything one wanted with clever storage places for suitcases. Breakfast and owner attention were excellent
