Stayed here for two nights and it was really lovely. It's a historic house with a lot of character. It has all the facilities you could need and is clean and tidy. It's in a great location and is a short walk from the city centre. Would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Nelson!

A return trip to Nelson and Fellworth House. Fellworth is a restored early colonial house situated in an area offering excellent vistas of Tasman Bay. Set up for solo travellers, with a bias towards the ladies. Fellworth is somewhere between a hostel and a boutique niche hotel. Located within a leisurely 15- 20 stroll of the city centre. Large clean... More

Big clean room with comfortable big bed. The shared bathrooms were very clean and nice thick towels provided. The open kitchen was also clean and tidy. Fantastic views across the town and out to sea from balconies, lounge, dining room and some guest rooms. A nice restful place to stay and to come back to after a day spent exploring... More

This is a lovely place to stay. The best hostel I've ever stayed in. Big and clean room with nice view. The facilities are also really good and clean. I was glad to go back to it at the end of each day as it was very relaxing. It is 10 mins walk from the bus stop.

The historical factor alone was enough to have me book a room at Fellworth. But then the cozy bed and room, open kitchen with outdoor patio to lounge in the sun, delicious free breakfast, free wifi, and nice hosts all made the stay fantastic. I'd definitely stay here again! It's only a 5-10 min walk into town, with a grocery... More

The building sits on a hill which is accessed from Milton Street (looking at the hotel from Bridge St the drive is about 40 metres left on Milton St, otherwise you can walk up the steps almost right in front of you). The groundfloor of the building is used as a dentist with the first floor been the hotel. The... More

Beautiful historic house set above the city centre which you could easily walk to with in 10 minutes. My room was well appointed & had a stunning view of the city & the sea. Apart from running into what I assumed to be a staff member I did not meet the owners or other staff. Returning late the front door... More
