Thank you for the upgrade from Queen to King. Yellow bus front domestic out of door 3 then don’t forget to pay for your ticket from vending machine. Credit or coins. No notes. $6 one way or $12 return. Runs every 25 mins 24/7. Ibis Budget is budget. Don’t be expecting 5 stars on a beer budget. Use room key to swipe in lift. Room was clean. Large King bed. Space a premium. Good overnight stay.

We stayed for one night after a late arrival flight (took the small blue van from the airport for $10 which was great and took about five minutes). The check in was very efficient which was great, and the staff were friendlu. The room was very small (as expected from pictures/information but it’s difficult to open suitcases) but modern, clean and comfortable. It was just right for a budget one night stay.

Quick Uber ride here so good for late or early flights. Paid $140 which is ok for 7 hrs. Bed was way too big for the room so you good only just get around the bed and a tight squeeze for two suitcases. Supermarket across the street.

Sadly this was generally disappointing. Firstly the good: - walking distance from the airport (if travelling light), i.e. took me about 15 mins - it was clean and tidy - the lighting in the room was pretty good/bright so you could actually see and read However, the things that stuck out for me as not so great: - tiny "wardrobe" (actually just something hanging off the wall - see photo). Not that surprising for an "airport hotel" but still not that great. - I was in a unit that might have been specially set up for wheelchair access, but it really felt like a hospital rather than a hotel room (both the room and the bathroom) - there was a fair amount of space but almost no furniture (see photo). They really needed another chair or couch in there as there was only a tiny stool or you had to sit on the bed. Also the table was tiny. - which brings me to by far the worst point. The bed was *terrible*. It was one of those "two single beds pushed together" to make a double bed, which isn't so bad, BUT as there wasn't enough seating in the room, everyone must sit on the side of the bed and the mattress was totally buggered along that entire edge. When you sat down on it you sank right down and could feel bent springs poking into you - all the "springiness" had gone from that entire edge of the mattress, which was then even worse when trying to sleep as you couldn't sleep in that massive dip so had to move right over to the join between the two single mattresses. They REALLY need to replace that mattress (for Ibis reference this was room 201).
