Nothing better than a little time in nature, to reset youself. The food is homegrown and AMAZING. They also have a small swimming pool- in summer a great way to refresh yourself. It is a great retreat for families with kids - so that they can interact with farm animals and realize that food does not grow in stores.

The farm to table concept is growing rapidly in Slovenija, but the owner Bojan Firbas has brought that to another level. The farm is awesame, the apatments, the glampng, the food they grow ... and last the best pear juice on the planet! Go see it yourself!

We can’t recommend highly enough staying at Domačija Firbas. It’s a wonderful place, where you can interact with nature, animals and the lovely family that runs it all. Try exploring the surroundings by e-bike, drink some local wine and enjoy the fantastic food.

They have a very enjoyable space for children who can play on the playground, while you are drinking a glass of a good home-made wine on the terrace with a great view in front of the beautiful nature with pearl orchard. Of course you need to try their pear juice too!❤️ The surroundings are arranged for couples too-Romantic Glamping houses. The farm is very nice for the people who enjoy the Country Sides!👌🏼

Me and my soon to be wife experienced the best 5* treatment ever. Home made dinner the owner Marko him self was kind enough to serve us dinner and tell us all there is to know about the food and the products that they produce on the farm, Nataša his companion showed us the room. Diner was superb! On the next morning we got the grand tour of the holiday farm. They have something for all. If you are looking for a superb guest experience you should pay them a visit! P.s. best home made pear nectar ever!

The Firbas family have been running this farm for years and everything about it is wonderful. Every effort is made to ensure that you are looked after. Its very friendly. We specifically chose this as were travelling as a family right across Europe and it provided something a little different. Although the rooms are small they are pretty - all pine throughout. The food here is the amazing experience. 99% of everything you eat and drink is either grown, reared or made on the farm or supplied by other farmers through a barter system. From the freshly churned butter, homemade cheese and sausages at breakfast time, to the fresh fruit juice, wine, spirits and delicious homecooked meals and pastries served in the evening. These were prepared and served at a time to suit you - beware there is no choice, you need to be adventurous and happy to try new and local gourmet produce. Im sure smaller children would love the food but if you are picky eaters don't got here. For us it was food heaven! THE WINE IS FANTASTIC! Buy some to take with you if you can. WE had a tour of the farm with the owner and the teenagers enjoyed loafing around under the many decks and canopies. They also loved the dog! For younger families there is a volleyball sand pit, and other games and things outside. Walks in the area are lovely. We didn't cycle, but you can.
