It was our second stay in Chateau Amade and everything was great
+ service and hospitality is superb + rich and tasty breakfast buffet + spa area and outdoor pool + oom amenities
- restaurant is not up to par to the rest of the hotel. they claim it is seasonal and local, which I usually appreciate and can confirm. but it misses some interesting twist or combinations. food is of a good quality, but plain and boring. there was a grill evening in restaurant, but no offer of a grilled fish - so close from Danube?
- we liked the sparkling wine from the vinery associated with the chateau and we wanted to buy some bottles for home. in their own online shop it costs 12 EUR, but they charged us ridiculous 44 EUR/bottle, which is a price you pay at the restaurant. this is the rip off.

This place is really nice, very near to Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava...We stayed at the room no.106, which is overlooking the beautiful garden. The room interior reminded me for the Provence style. It was very spacious, nicely decorated. The spa and wellness part of the hotel was purely great! The masseuse I had, called Katka, is simply perfect!!! The pool is large, they have jacuzzi, sauna, Hammam massage and all sorts of treatment. The staff are really polite and friendly overall. There are a few things, which was a bit "worse" then it was expected. First of all the selection and the variety of breakfast. We asked for a HB (half board), so we always had the dinner within the hotel. Our waitress and waiter were really nice, polite and helpful. The only thing, which bothered me was again the selection. They chose the food for us, so we did not have a chance to chose for our selves. Other then that, it is a nice place, perfect if you are not into "crowd factory" type of places.

I spent my day at the hotel pleasantly on 22th November 2014. I recieved a clean, warm and very comfortable room there. The meal was at the level of a luxury hotel an the staff was also nice and helpful. Everything was appropriate next to the swimming pool, too. The air was warm and the water int he pool also suitable. I was swimming a lot, which action was followed by a massage and very delicious herbal tea. Those who choose a pleasant relaxation, here will find everything in one place. I have been at first here in Hotel Amade Château, but certainly not last time! Beautiful chateau boutique hotel. The service in the reastaurant was great.Kriztian the supervisor was exceptional, friendly caring and helping and recommending,the waiters were very friendly and smiling. The food very good. The Spa welness is very nice and well preserved, we were alone at 8 pm as if private. Overall chateau is wonderful, even if it was rainy, we had a great experience

During our bike ride from Vienna to Budapest, we were privileged to have been able to stay in the gem in village of Vrakun. Whilst the village in many respects was characterized as soviet influenced, the hotel Amanda's roots are firmly established in the by gone days when most of Europe was ruled by the aristocracy. the Place was elegant, charming, old world and just delightful. the staff were excellent, friendly and always willing to assist. The dining was first rate and wine selection very good. The rooms are are not large as you could imagine in an older hotel but furnished tastefully. Drinks on the rear terrace overlooking the gardens was a great way to finish the day after bike riding. Champagne sabreing was a highlight.The spa area is just the best, total pampering was on the menu.We had live gypsy music in the downstairs dining cavern it was cetainly different to what we expected. It was sad day the day we departed

I have stayed at a lot of Chateaux in France. This was equal to most of them. It is in exceptional condition and the grounds are a lovely garden. The spa is very new and has great facilities. Both indoor and outdoor pools. Good massage.

I spent a long weekend together with my fiancé in Hotel Amade Chateau from Thursday evening till Sunday. It is located in small town approx. 1h drive from Vienna airport. The hotel is best described as picturesque. We were simply bewildered from the very first moment. It is truly a scenery from the Sissi movie and incredibly romantic.. Upon check in we received a drink upon check in and were welcomed by the hotel manager who was very friendly. We received a tour around the castle and it's facilities. The eye for detail is simply impressive and unimaginable. Every room is decorated differently within the same style. The hotel restaurant is very nice and menu has been composed with much care for homegrown local products and dishes are prepared by chefs who knows how to prepare them in the finest way. Wine and digestif menus offer impressive choices that for sure suit every possible taste. Local meat products, such as the "Mangalitsa", were a very new experience for myself. My fiancé relishes vegetarian dishes very much and was also very satisfied with the restaurant. The breakfast was very nice and fresh and with enormous variations (including even Brussels waffles). The Amade Spa is impressive. It was very cold outside and rainy so we did not mind spending a lot of time in the Spa. My absolute favorite was the couples massage in the breathtaking Turkish hammam. Because I liked it so much I booked another one before leaving after which I smoked a water pipe! The sauna, infra-red sauna and steam shower are very nice and offer great relaxation options. All facilities are incredibly clean and well maintained. The Spa food and drinks menu is nice and offers great healthy bites and very nice teas. On Saturday we went to visit Vienna, which offered us the perfect combination between a small city trip and perfect relaxation. It was a great weekend and relish to come back very soon. The beautiful garden and outdoor pool must be just wonderful during summertime. All personnel was very friendly and so nice that I missed them the moment we left to the airport. I think this is one of the best Hotel in Europe , the details are fantastic and the service is amazing. Room perfect in all the details , different pillows type, never seen nothing similar. Also the restaurant is fantastic the food well prepared and the service great. Swimming pool ,very nice garden and relax area are making this hotel fantastic.

It was a very nice stay. The whole hotel interior is as in Laduree very princess style. We stayed at prestige suite. The room decor was fanstastinc. Only suggest that instead of shower curtain they should instal some glass wall, as only with the curtain theres water everywhere. Also the bed was little bit unconfortable, and pull out sofa not suitable for sleeping really.. Other wise, staff were extremely nice and friendly, helpful at your disposal all the time. Property is very well maintened and clean, worked to detail. Food is tasty, with hungarian touch. We will be back.
