Very nice hotel, with clean pool, excellent local fish-based food and extremely kind personnel. Able to arrange nice boat trips to surrounding water channels, lakes, fishing spots, villages and other attractions. Rich drinks and wine selection at the bar.

Excellent place. Really nice and helpfull staff with acomodation, meals but also trips. The fish meals are the best. Great for wine lovers as they will find bouth exquisite wines and the finest stories to match.

Outstanding piece of paradise in Crisan. Wonderful being back at Pensiunea doi Capitani. We have booked the summer package which includes 4 days and 3 nights stay, as well as transportation to and from Murighiol by boat. Furthermore 2 trips to the Delta, breakfast and dinner are also included. We have savoured the delicious fish soups, grilled fish and the wonderful freshly made dishes prepared by the kind and always smiling lady in the kitchen. We have watched the impressive colony of pelicans and a huge number of others birds. We were overwhelmed by the vast groups of exotic white and yellow lotus flowers. We were emotionally touched by the view of Sulina meeting the waters of the Black See. Definitely an unforgettable experience. Highly recommendable place, very dedicated staff and good value for money.…

The best accommodation and experience in Danube Delta, the rooms have plenty of space, all is very nice made, real 4*+. The restaurant is with Michelin stars in local fish dishes. They have very nice pool. You can choose from a wide variety of wines. Tours through the delta are made by the host with his own boat, also fishing trips. The owner is great and present in the location! I will come back in this location every time I will come in the Delta.

The location is very good. At the edge of Crisan, we found a very cozy place to spend one week with our friends. Rooms are nice, bathroom small but clean. A lot of towels also for sunbath. The pool is big enough but the water is cold. The deck arround the pool can be dangerous due to the unscrewed screws. The inner restaurant was closed due the COVID fashion, but both terraces were nice. At the breakfasts every day same food, no fantasies at all... lunch and dinner was good but not wow. The staff was very helpful but overwhelmed. The lady in the kitchen was the only weak point of the vacation. Very bossy, close to rudeness, it seems that she was paying us to eat :)) i felt like a 12 years old boy who was in a camping trip and the big old lady from the kitchen was the all mighty boss. That kind of person have no place on a 5 stars (even if 5 is exaggerated). In the last days we preferred to go to Lebada Resort to eat, even we had full board on Doi Capitani.…

We were a group of ten families that occupied the whole place and it was perfect. Rooms are all the same, duplex with matrimonial bed on the first floor and extendible couch on ground floor. All have balconies that look inside the yard where there is also a pool. Food was nice, lotof fish cooked in different ways. The small vinoteque offers you nice alternatives of wine from the area and not only. We enjoyed the place, the food, the people, the delta! Next timewe go to the same place for sure.

Spent 4 days, in one of the most beautiful place from Romania Delta Dunarii and our experience have been completed by the great services and nice place called “ Doi Capitani”. Clean and cosy place, with a very good traditional cuisine, led by Mrs Nina and a star guide “Captain Paul” for your exploring adventures of the amazing Delta. Keep it up! A place where I will come back!

We stayed here 3 nights. The room was big and very clean. The pool area is great. The meals were excelent.. great chef!! We also bought some trips with The boat... that was the best thing!! Excelent services!!! Totally recomend!!

We definitely recommend “Doi capitani”. Everything was amazing, starting from the cosy rooms and relaxing outdoor areas (exactly like in the photos) to the delicious fish-based food (daily home made), to the nice wine selection, to the impecable service. Beautiful surroundings as well and trips organized in the Delta.
