Located in a very nice surrounding, near a mountain river, in the middle of the forest. Charming locasion, 18 km far from Sibiu, the European Cultural Capital in 2007. Sibiel village is famous for the Glass Icon Museum and for Gold Apple won few years ago. Traditional food, in a typical restaurant. We are cooking not only in the cuisine, also outdoor in front of the tourists. It is possible to choose to eat inside or outside, near the river. Ideal for groups and for nature lover, for people who choose to relax. A lot of opportunities for walking...

Perfectly located near a small mountain river surrounded by woods , this pension is a very good option if you want to visit Sibiu land and main attractions. Rooms are small but very nicely traditionally decorated. Restaurant is nice with good food . Maybe prices are a little bit high, but accomodation worth the money. You may find here plenty of choices to spend time in the fresh air of the forrest.

Situated at the edge of Sibiel village, very near the forest, this is a rather newly built modern complex (lodging, restaurant, sauna, indoor pool). The area is marked as agrotouristic (on some signs i passed) so don't expect to find much in the village (I only found a small store selling cigarettes, snacks, booze). The village is still very traditional and most of the time you will meet locals bringing the cattle back from the pastures in the evening, carrying water from the well, etc. In my room I found some suggestions about what to do in the area and there are some hiking trails, but most of the POIs weren't within walking distance (20-30km or more). The best way to stay here, I think, is with a group, spending most of the time around the complex

Lovely place to spend the day with friends and family. Owners very friendly and accommodating; drinks and dinner were especially tasty! Recommended to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing day, walk around and enjoy the best traditional Romanian food.

As the whole area around Sibiu, this is a nice village to visit. Sibiel pension is the largest accommodation resort in the area, so you can organize large parties. Restaurant is a plus. The pool is available only 2 hours per day :(

The very small shower, the TV in the room does not work, small beds, but nice staff. The location is excellent, the mountain air and the breeze of the near river make it more advantageous than other guesthouses in the area. Work still needs to be done in the comfort of the rooms.

I spent wonderful vacations in this place. The last time it was last weekend with a large group of friends and we were welcomed by the owner and by a nice personnel. The rooms, the food, the party, all of them, created a wonderful winters tale. For a interesting experience of a romanian traditional holiday, visit this part of the country and enjoy Pensiunea Sibiel!

We've been here 2 times in the past months. Location is not very far from Sibiu almost t the end of the road. Has a beautiful river in front and a nice landscape. 3km away is a small monastery that has a nice old church and a new bigger one. The walk till there goes very well after a nice dinner in the traditional restaurant. Regarding room tips we had a room not facing the restaurant and we loved it, quiet and beautiful. In a few words - location is fine, personnel is very kind, food is excellent (ask for the daily specials).
