We decide to eat here but was the worst experience! We order a bottle of water but they came with sink water in a used bottle! We had soup also, but they came at table with a lot of extra stuff that we didn't order and even If we told the that we didn't need this they charge us! AVOID

Great food, friendly people, beautiful live music. Order anything because it's delicious. Good recipes, good ingredients. The design is genuine, a true inn. Sadoveanu was right: the best inn in the world.

We stopped here on our way home and had lunch. Is a great place to eat traditional Romanian food. It looks just like the old times, keeps alive the legend of Sadoveanu. The prices are good, the food is delicious. I recommend you to try it. You won't regret it. Oh, and don't forget to buy "zacuscă" and "dulceață "...

The restaurant is decorated in a traditional way, very attractive if you want to sense the smell of the ancient times, so well described by Sadoveanu in his homonym novel. We had a good lunch, we tried local cuisine: meatball soup, mushroom with sour cream and polenta, Moldavian sausages with cooked cabbage - all very well prepared and tasty. The...

We had a great time, as well the food is wonderful. The service was prompt and kind from the side of the waiters. A place to visit for sure, and have a good meal. The atmosphere is out of story, musicians have traditional songs that will give you a great mood. The prices are not high at all.

A place full of history with food that you'll hardly find somewhere else. Unfortunately, it is expensive and the portion size is smaller than you expected. If you are nearby, you can enter here and taste some different food, but I won't come all the way just for this place...

We enjoyed our visit at "Hanul Ancutei". I ate my first "bors" soup, which was very good and my first "poale-n brau" cake, which was pretty good, also. Even if we visit the restaurant in late June, they served elder flower juice (socata), which is a traditional non-alcoholic beverage that we really liked. The restaurant has a band which sings...
