Went to stay here for 2 nights for our anniversary. Was the only motel available left for the Easter holidays. Got there about 3.45pm, partners car had radiator problems so the owners of the motel let us use their garden hose which was nice of them but told us to move the car because it was apparently blocking the walkway which is wasn't. Anyway after all that we got into our room and I liked it, it was quite big then I expected. The Wi-Fi was good, the tv had Foxtel but the tv's weren't clear and the sound was a bit off. The kitchenette had 4 mugs, 2 cups (no wine glasses), 1 fork (how weird), 2 large spoons, 1 teaspoon, 2 medium bowls and 2 small plates. The bathroom was good. With room service, they did change our bed and gave us new towels but didn't give us new cutlery or kitchenware which was disappointing. Overall it was nice to get away and for $260 for two nights I would do it again.

Stayed here earlier in the new year. 5 minutes outta Portland on the hwy but not nosiey but that's the only plus. Spiders webs in the corners a noisy old aircon and staff who don't care if your upset but substanted accommodation. Shower scodered me as it flutcherated between. Cold hot burning and on telling staff wasn't even offered an apology. Unfortunately we won't return.

We reached after 4.5 hours from Melbourne. Check in was brisk. Room clean with every handy appliance you would want on a short stay . Microwave, Internet, ironing . Comfy Beds and soothing AirCon. Ample carpark. Good toiletries with neat spacious restroom. Housekeeping daily was perfect.

A little motel 4km outta Portland, clean and tidy but that where it stops. Spiders in the corners of the room(bug Spray provided) bathroom is very poky and shower was terrible hot cold scolder then cold. again. Must be better for the price. On raising issues with staff was told spiders happen and no sorry about facilities will stay else where.

The motor inn is set a few hops away from the main highway flowing into Portland. Far enough for there to be only a distant rumble of cars and trucks. The owners are friendly and pleasant to chat with. The accommodation is about 4km from the town centre. We liked the big beds and rooms and often quipped about the 80s style rooms. They were however clean and the free Austar TV made for some late nights watching 80s movie classics hehe. I think the only issues we encountered was the very loud air conditioning unit (built pre 1980) and the dog barking across the fence at odd hours of the night (yes there were some bad movies made in the 80s). A pleasant stay with a couple of small hindrances but overall a good leisurely and restful time.
