My family and I had stayed there nights in 2-bedroom apartment as our final stop of round trip in south island. We were very enjoyable to stay with Daryl family. Thank you so much again! Position: 15 - 20 min by walk to town center, 5 min by walk to the beach, quite good place to catch up the beautiful...

We had a wonderful stay here. Our little cabin was spotless and very cosy. It had everything we needed. We had only planned to stay for a night and ended up staying 3! Daryl and his wife are so welcoming and really made us feel at home. We rented DVDs which was a real bonus. Great location. Would definitely recommend.

This is my second stay at the cottages and it was as good as I remembered from the first time. Cottages were sparkling clean and beds were so comfortable! Cottages are toasty warm with heaters and electric blankets provided. Shower pressure was perfection also. Free wifi was an added bonus as well as plunger coffee, fantastic! Thanks for the great...

A lovely place to stay. Stand alone cottages which are beautifully presented . A lovely homely feel , would of liked to have stayed an extra night had we been able to. Excellent hosts who made us feel very welcome. We will defiantly be back. Highly recommended.

We were pleasantly surprised by the modern cottages when we arrived. Very clean and new. Really happy with everything, the service was as kiwi as you would hope for. There is some road noise but not too intrusive

we had a beautiful and spacious cottage, very quiet, with a large terrace (sunset view) and a small garden. Barrel and his wife are great hosts and you can rent DVDs and ask for any help. We stayed for four nights and can really recommend it. Thank you, Mirjam&Daniel

Darryl and Raewyn made us wonderfully welcome to their excellent cottage style chalets . Although close to town the location is peaceful and has great views of the mountains. It is also within walking distance of the ocean. The chalets are self catering and there is access to laundry facilities and a barbecue. Although the TV channels are limited, Darryl...

One of our favourite stays in NZ. Warmly welcomed by the Host, who had already turned the heating on for us. Our son was invited to select from a huge variety of new release DVDs ( Which was wonderful on wet and cold night) We also appreciated the kitchen and having the ability to make a home cooked meal after...

This accommodation doesn't have an ocean view, and it isn't in the midst of Kaikoura activity, BUT, if you are looking for a place that is homey, quiet, self catering, where you have 24 WIFI without restrictions, then this is my recommendation. The cottage has a bedroom with twin beds---very comfortable mattresses, and a queen bed with a half wall...

Stayed here recently for 2 nights and so glad we did. The individual cottages are cute - double glazed, very well equipped, very clean. The owner was welcoming and friendly, and gave us good advice re where to buy a freshly cooked crayfish, which we took. Sitting on the front verandah, sipping a G & T looking at the mountains...

“I occupied room 2. Only disadvantage is it backs onto main highway so can get the heavy traffic noise. Any cottage ie 4-6 may be quieter.”
