Spent two nights at this cozy home-feeling lodge, and we enjoyed all time over there, Neil is a wonderful host and cooked lovely breakfast for our family and I like his beautiful landscape photos and bought two of them. Nice quality lodge, highly recommanded! 非常舒适, 温馨, 主人热情, 周到, 环境优美, 建议尝试.

This is a super lodge with excellent amenties. The ensuite bedrooms are delightful and the cosy sitting room with log fire in the winter is a treat. Breakfasts are superb and the setting in marvellous with great views of the spectacular scenery.

No drinking water at night? Seriously? We don’t allow you to boil water in the kettle? Really? This is the kind of “review” which gives TripAdvisor a bad name. Completely unfounded, complete nonsense, and as insulting to me as it is ridiculous to anyone reading it. I suspect the real reason you are complaining is because we do not allow... More

Arrived Manakau Lodge (named after the adjacent mountain) to a warm welcome from Neil Protheroe whose passion and attention to detail are fantastic. We had Room 3 with its own deck and comfortable chairs looking out to sea. Albeit the views in all directions are inspiring. The room was lovely and big with all the expected comforts including wonderful bathroom... More

We spent two nights at Manakau Lodge, which included a lovely dinner platter on the first night. Our spacious room could not be faulted and had a superb view of the mountains. Breakfast on both mornings was of the highest standard and our host Neil certainly looked after us and made our stay memorable.

We stayed here for 1 night. The lodge owner was incredibly welcoming, and the facilities were great in the lodge - coffee, tea and fireplace, with , Apple TV in the room. The view from the room was spectacular! The lodge is decorated with some lovely photos that the lodge owner had taken. Breakfast was great. Throughly recommend.

A short ride out of town, and you are at an elegant and beautiful lodge. The rooms are spacious and the breakfasts are wonderful. David is a gracious host who helped us with dinner reservations and what to do's.
