Perhaps it was the weather? Perhaps it was the awful horrific events that occurred in Christchurch at exactly the time of our arrival at camp ( I told the lady in the office about the terror attacks) I did NOT enjoy my stay here. A major contributing factor was the apparent

This is such a disappointing comment. We value our staff immensely that they allocate all our quests to a site that quest require as best as we can on what is available at the time knowing that they need to be close to the CLEAN amenities block ect. Yes you could have gone down the other end but then you would have had a long walk back to the facilities. We place our customers on site, we are still busy enough to know that if we didn't it could become a shambles very quickly, so I guess if you want to be away from others and place yourself, maybe you should join the so called " freedom campers " that love taking the law into their own hands and park up anywhere. It is only fair that you have one site ,( that is what you paid for),with all vehicles on it as all others do, even in our extremely busy season they manage to do that. The site you moved to after we placed you on a prime beachfront site are for our late comers or ones that need to be close to the blocks so they are easy accessible and easy to find If you felt so strongly about the situation at the time why did you not come and discuss it with us and yes as a kiwi it was a very horrific day our hearts go out to all the families and feel that THIS as in "comments" is so trivial. Another thing MCA why ?? People coming in off the street don,t get discount ( and don't ask for it ) and as we are very competitive already in our pricing. It was something we where looking at but mmmm not sure now. Anyway have a great day, try and enjoy your caravan experiences and keep smiling.

Great spot, clean and friendly. Just off the beach, powered and non powered sites. 10 minutes from the beautiful harbour of Kaikoura. Really helpful owner, when we had a problem with power, was very supportive. They also have a great ice cream mixer that makes super soft serve

Hi Liz, Sorry I did answer your question. Yes you can leave your caravan in the storage area. The cost is $6.00 per week payable monthly. Your dog can come with you, he|she just needs to stay on lead whilst in the park but we do have a NO DOG policy for the period 22 Dec - 4 Jan.
