We found this place by accident and what a happy accident. We camped in our caravan and enjoyed using the kitchen and bbq for our dinner. Nice view of the hills and the deer on the hillside behind us. The following morning one sheep strolled through the campsite. Lots of hot

"We stayed in room 3 which is just next to the living room and kitchen"
"All rooms are beautiful with a view and open outside onto a deck"
"Bring your own food to make dinner - and breakfast and lunch too if you're so inclined, which you can enjoy on the deck with amazing views (or in front of the fireplace during winter!). A well equipped kitchen and BBQ are available for guests to use. Make sure to bring sandfly repellent if you visit during summer and are allergic to or affected by sandflies."
"If you prepared to cook in Waikene, go to supermarket first. Because there is no shops or supermarket near the lodge. It simply takes 20 min drive to town."
"All the rooms are great"
