We stayed here one night. The two couples each had their own cottage. One was next to the smoking area and were given a second room away from that are. The one downer for my husband and I was the truck across the lawn to the toilets and showers. The facilities were clean. There is a communal kitchen and dining area, where we prepared dinner and breakfast and plenty of refrigerator space to share. Nice place to visit with other guests. The desk clerk was very helpful in getting dishes, pans, and towels and helping us deduce where to. Is it in town.

Very clean and easy checkin, with a fantastic play area for our little children. The one-bedroom had everything we needed for our kitchenette. The main kitchen had a place for foodscraps but no rubbish bin, so other guests were throwing their rubbish in with the scraps. The BBQ's electric plug had to be requested, and we were hoping to use it on Christmas but the office was closed. It's not common that we have to ask to use the BBQ facilities at other holiday parks, so we didn't think about it prior to the office closing on Christmas Eve. We had a motel unit, but if we didn't, the toilets would have been a pain. Having small girls, we don't like taking them to the men's toilet. A family toilet is preferable these days, as most dads also change diapers. Check-in was speedy and friendly. I recommend this place for anyone with children, but recommend a unit over camping for small children.

Thank you for your Review. There are rubbish bins placed directly outside the Main Kitchen as well as in different areas of the Park. Note: There are 2 Family Bathrooms between the Mens and Ladies Shower/Toilet Block and also 2 communal toilets near the playground.

What a wonderful facility. I stayed in the accessibility unit for two nights. Absolutely excellent! Very spacious for anyone in a wheelchair with a decent sized lounge area, wheelchair access in kitchenette and undersink and a fully kitted shower room for those in a chair. Though I’m able bodied, I think the facility is very adequate though perhaps if you are restricted, the high mounted cabinetry and microwave might be out of reach, however there is plenty of counter space and I’m certain the friendly staff would be more than happy to relocate necessary items for you.
Lovely facility, as good as new, excellent condition, wonderful showers, great communal spaces. Five Star from me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful new park, well-appointed cabins with stylish decor. The facilities are well- designed with a nicely spaced park layout to enhance privacy. The staff went the extra mile to accommodate late alterations in our booking. We are really appreciative of their effort.

What a fantastic holiday park. Less than a year in operation and still looks immaculate and brand new. Excellent location, excellent amenities, friendly helpful kiwi staff, trails and treks within easy reach, town just down the road, would highly recommend, go there! If you don't have pots and pans, don't worry for only $5 you can rent a full set of cooking utensils for your stay, worth every cent...this place has everything you could need and probably more...

Stayed here 2 nights early September in our motorhome One of the nicest parks we stayed in. Very quiet and very clean park. Playground is excellent. Not sure what it would be like in summer as there’s no shade around, similarly middle of winter bathrooms would need heating as they were quite open. Managers onsite very helpful and we loved hokitika.

I have just spent two nights at the Hokitika Kiwi Holiday Park while visiting whanau in the area. It is a very nice facility indeed which I would recommend to anyone. From booking in with Kevin or Lois who are very friendly and accommodating people to the user friendly layout of the park to the lovely clean, warm (as it was cold outside while there) well appointed units, I'm sure anyone would enjoy a stay here.

We only stayed at the holiday park for one night but it was an excellent stay, despite the terrible weather. The units and the whole motor camp are relatively new (only 3 years old) and it is such a pleasant contrast to some of the dated and tired accommodation we have stayed in. We had the one-bedroom unit - it was spacious and comfortable with a full kitchen and a good size bathroom. The parking was right by the unit which was appreciated in the heavy rain and the park is easy to drive in and out of. If you have children there is a great kids playground right in the middle of the park. Service was friendly and very pleasant.

A small unit with everything you need!
Our room didnt come with a cooktop (thats what we booked) but it came with a fridge microwave kettle. The heaters in the room were on 30minute timers, easy to follow manual to work the heaters also electric blankets for this very cold winter with extra blankets.
Check-in was very quick and staff there were very friendly and welcoming.
Would definately recommend!!
